I will NEVER use New Wave Realty again. Dealing with the company to set up the lease was miserable, took forever, and ended up being expensive because the New wave agent kept sending us messed up paperwork. We literally almost signed a lease that was for a different apartment than we looked at! I will never go back to New wave Boston Real estate.

BEWARE OF NEW WAVE BOSTON REAL ESTATE! They are a bunch of scam artists. Their tactic is to post rediculously nice apartments on craigslist way below market value just to generate leads. In my case, I called about a posting (with pictures) of a beautiful 2 BR apartment in a new building in downtown Boston listed for under $3,000/month. I called the agent, who said it was an "open listing" but he could get me in there at 12 noon tomorrow to see it. During the same phone call, he asked me what I was looking for so he could get a list of together of other places to show me. I did some research that night and could not find that apartment on New Wave's website. However, I did find two other apartments in the same buidling on their website, a 1 BR for $3,950 and a 2 BR for $6,900 (recall he was supposedly showing me a 2 BR for $2,700!). I thought this was a "too good to be true" situation, and as it turns out, it was. I called the agent at 9am the next day to confirm our 12 noon showing. No answer. Called again at 10:30 and left him a voicemail. He finally called back around 11am and told me that unfortunately we had to cancel the appointment because the landlord had just called him informing him that he received an application for the unit. When I asked him why the unit was so underpriced compared to the other units in the building, he had no explanation, but said he'd come up with a few more places to show me either that day or the following day. THIS WAS A COMPLETELY BOGUS POSTING THAT SLEAZY REALTORS USE TO GET PEOPLE TO CALL THEM. DO NOT USE NEW WAVE BOSTON REAL ESTATE!
