07/09/15, 1:45P I have lived at Northport Apartments for ±6 months. So far it has been a great experience! Below are some pros and cons that I know to be true at this point of my residency: Pros: -Overall cost of living: Yes bills suck. However, I find it convenient that Edward Rose & Sons>Northport Apartments include water & gas into my monthly rent. -Respectful neighbors: Although I have not met all of my neighbors, most of the residents are respectful and keep to themselves. -Fitness center: I think it is fantastic that there is a fitness center and swimming pool that residence have access to. However, when I go to the fitness center I always find myself racking the dumbbells that someone else decided not to put away properly. This one is not on the Northport staff but on the residents that abuse the facility. -Location: Even though it is on two major roads, I find it convenient that I can zip over to wherever I need to go. It meets all shopping/functional needs. -Customer Service Staff & Maintenance Team: I have had some issues in my apartment regarding fixtures but Northport’s customer service staff has had an impressively fast customer response time to my inquiries. --For example, I sent a message via Facebook Messenger this past holiday weekend (4th of July) regarding a minor/unknown leak in my hallway. First thing Monday, the customer service team responded with their plan of action to send the maintenance team out as soon as possible. When I got home from work around 4P, the maintenance member was there working on the AC unit and thoroughly explained what the problem was and how he intended to repair it. Within 20 minutes, maintenance left and the problem was fixed. --The day after, Northport’s customer service team messaged me asking if the carpet was still wet and if so, they were willing to send out a carpet cleaning team to clean and deodorize the affected carpet. The carpet was still damp and they sent the carpet team out right away. --The day after that, they followed up again to ensure their service has been satisfactory. And damn straight I was satisfied! Cons: -First floor: The stairway towards my apartment seems to constantly build up with webs that catch grass clippings, bugs, and debris. It’s not the best thing to see when coming home from a long day at work or having company over. I have notified Northport’s customer service team and the have already cleared it up. Overall it's a great place to live! Highly recommended! Keep up the great work Team Northport!

I can say my experience at Northport Apartments has been a positive one. The office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. A maintenance man came and fixed my dryer within a timely manner and the office staff even called me back to follow up to make sure it was still working. Including all the apartments I have lived in Northport is by far the best.

In the year we lived there we had nothing but issues. In the interest of trying to save time, let me list them : -The neighbors below us would constantly shake our apartment and make ungodly noise. Management did nothing. They would "send out maintenence" (out of the many times we called, they arrived once) so they could verify the noise. We were told to just call the cops. Nothing happened. -Their stellar maintenance team missed replacing our filters for six months, despite multiple fliers saying they would come out on x date. -Oh and when they DID replace the filters, we were given no notice. When reporting this to the office manager Krystal, she was unconcerned that we were accusing her complex of doing something illegal and said it "would have been done anyways". Oh, and she KNEW her maintenance team sent out fliers (they didn't) because she printed out x copies and her team came back with no extras. -To further add to the wonderful work of maintenence, we had set up three appointments to fix our screen. On the first, I verified with the office that they had our appointment and we would be seen that day. I was guaranteed they'd be there by 5. They never arrived. Subsequent appointments played out the same way. By the time someone could actually do something it was too cold to have the screen open anyways. -Snow service was HORRENDOUS. I understand that it may take a while to get plows, but the office decided to just plow our cars in against 3 feet of snow and leave them like that for two days before any decent job was done. My boyfriend and neighbors ended up having to dig out our cars so we didn't have to miss multiple days of work. -Apparently there's a lot of theft going on around North Port, which they were nice enough to alert us to FOUR MONTHS after it began. I'm sure there's more, but the headache and lack of professionalism was the absolute worst. Thanks to Northport, I decided to buy a condo rather than deal with anybody in charge of that place. I definitely would NOT recommend and will tell anyone who will listen why. The actual apartments were nice though.

My boyfriend and I moved here back in January and have liked it so far! We've had a few issues with our apartment but after calling the main office they were taken care of immediately! We love the convenience of being near Hall Rd and many restaurants and Malls! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking in the area!

I've lived here for almost 3 years now and I've had no major problems to report. I just don't like people posting only negitive reviews. Too many people rely on these "reviews," and not enough people write positive ones. Northport is cool with me!
