The management staff is beyond worth talking to about concerns or problems. The two ladies there have the personal and social skills of an undeveloped adolescent teenager. They're both as educated as a five year old child and don't take care of their property in a serious manner. Apartments are poorly cared for. Old appliances, dirty carpets, wrecked cabinets, old A/C system that doesn't work. Section 8 ghetto establishment that results in unruly neighbors. Potential crime in the area, and yet, police are hesitate to calls. This place is an all around joke. 0 Stars!

Our experience here has been horrible!!! Shortly after moving in we started counting down the days till we could move OUT!!! We have had so many negative run ins with unruly disrespectful teenagers in the complex, some of which are certain don't eve live here. Or store units are constantly broken into and the police are busy to ever come investigate. A neighbors husband was betting her senseless and it took the cops almost 20 minutes to get here. On another occasion the same neighbors teenage son was being abused and we called the cops hoping that they could come and break things up and were told to call the non-emergency line if the situation is not life threatening!!! Seriously......The last break in we had the cops never even came, sad! The washer and dryers are constantly out of order and since there is nothing to indicate they are out of order until after you place your money in them, you frequently find yourself with wet clothes or having to leave the complex to wash them. Recently we had teenagers smoking weed, and having sex in our wash room. Let’s not forget to mention the urine in the corners of the wash rooms, and the clutter from people dumping their unwanted goods. A few months ago the water pipes burst setting off the fire alarms. So at 2 am in the morning in the middle of the work/school week we ended up sitting in the car for almost an hour while the fire department who took their time getting here struggled to figure out how to shut it off. To make matters worse the water damage completely ruined the walls in the hallway. So on top of the thick stink of weed, you now smell mold are subject to look at half dry walled halls. When you call the office they apologize, but are not sympathetic enough to suggest feasible options for you breaking your lease. I am not against Section 8, however, if you are going to have these types of tenants, then understand the frustrations of the tenants paying full price. They have audacity to charge my family a grand for my rent, the least they could do is make sure to keep up the property and attempt to properly manage the trouble tenants. Seriously wished we had researched more about the complex before moving in here.

For the price its fine. It's mostly section 8 ghetto, but if you know what your getting into and don't mind that sort of thing it's not bad. Staff is always nice to me.

So... Nottingham Place Apartments state they're a "luxury rental". Well, they're not. I've lived here for 2 years now and am moving because of many motives. THEY ARE SECTION 8, so if you like ghetto trash that yells all hours of the night, drug dealing in the parking lot, fighting, cops flashing their spot lights in every window (at night), rude people, maintenance hard to keep up with EVERYTHING that is broken (A/C is over 30 years old, water heater old and does not run hot all the time), ghetto black people always blaring their "gangsta ghetto rap" day AND NIGHT, annoying heathen children running through the halls (the list goes on) I'm sure I've made my point. If it's a last resort, I'd say go ahead and move in, but this place is NOT worth living in if you can move into an even better place. Needless to say, they have put more money in on their renovations in the office than fixing everybody's A/C and heating and properly insulating windows and doors. Also, the hallways smell horrible and will leak into your apartment. The managers are nice, but the tenants that live here, do not care about you or anyone except themselves. From a scale from 1-10, I'd give this place a 3.

Worst living experience I've ever had. Just in the first 3 months- I had to appear in court as a witness to an assault by our downstairs neighbors. It only took two more assault charges from said neighbors on other tenants of our building to warrant an eviction from Nottingham Management. Highly overpriced and severely lacking in upkeep. Wouldn't wish this complex on my worst enemy.
