If you are looking for an apartment complex in a safe community (schools are great) this is the place. if you are looking for a clean, updated, and reasonably nice property, look elsewhere.

This place is falling apart. I've been living here for 6 months and still haven't gotten a key to the work out room, if there even is one. I don't really know b/c I haven't seen it yet. I had to wait a month for my mail key (and lost an important bill), one of the bathroom faucets didn't work when I moved in, the oven/stove wasn't plugged in and I know why: b/c it won't turn off and it burns everything! When the guy came to fix it, he made notes and left and never came back. I was told that there would be new carpet put in, but the old carpet wasn't even cleaned well when I moved in. Also, the a/c is put into the bathroom and vibrates the water pipes so that at night, it's really hard to sleep through all that vibrating. To top it all off, the pools were closed for more than half of this record breaking summer heat. I wish I could say more nice things b/c the location is great, it's close to parks and the people are nice, but all these little inconveniences put together has made me one frustrated tenant.

These apartments are trashy and falling apart!! They have drug addicts and felons running around the complex. Not a safe place for children. But an ideal place for your local drug connection.

I have lived here for 6 months. First of all I was lied to just so I would move in to the apartments. I was told there was a hot tub, and that the old management building was going to be a state-of-the-art business center. It still has not been converted to a business center. Also the maintenance done to prepare for my move-in was not good. Nothing was fixed, carpet wasn't cleaned, walls were dirty, walls were not painted. My stove has been broken since I moved in and it took them 4 months to fix a laundry room door that I was told a part had to be ordered. Finally after 4 months of hassling them, they fixed it. I was told the stove that was in my apartment was one I requested. When I looked at the apartment and moved in to it, there was a brand new digital stove. One day I walked in and there was a 1970s era stainless steal stove. I was told this is what I asked for so this is what I was "stuck with!" This was not what I requested, I asked if the new stove would remain. This last week I found out that the complex switched my electricity over with their vacant apartments (I found out from Oncor) which removed me from TXU. The complex said it wasn't their fault and that I owed them $166.00. When I talked to them about it they said pay it or else. ONCOR told me that it was the complex's fault and that shouldn't have happened. TXU has no record of who switched my account, just that it was another energy company. I would strongly recommend that you look other places and NEVER under any circumstance move to OAK CREEK APARTMENTS in BEDFORD, TEXAS!!!!
