Could not ask for a better location. Right on the trails, creek and behind Fairhaven park. Very pet friendly. I have wonderful neighbors. Staff is warm hearted and appreciate tenants inputs especially if done respectfully and with a solution in mind. Pool has received much TLC with brand new surfacing and a large quantity of quality poolside furnishings. Maintenance is very responsive and very friendly. Grounds are kept immaculate. Area is very quiet with polite neighbors. No parties or beer bottles laying around. ;) ... Some appliances could be updated but hey, they cook, clean and keep cool just fine. ... A little more Sq. footage be nice. The only reasons why a star is missing. ... Staff, location, tenants/neighbors and care of grounds easy 5 stars! Resident 3 years
Having lived here a couple of years, my experience has been really good: the onsite management has always been willing to listen and work with me to solve any issue which has come up, they are not perfect, neither am I so let's move on. These are apartments, not mommy and daddy's mcmansion, so get used to communal living or buy your own home. Awesome greenbelt, best location in the city for apartments. Most people here are nice and stay for years, the complainers are usually the worst offenders in every way, and they move on as transients are wont to do. We're staying.
This used to be a nice place to live. Then around 2009 or so things started going downhill. Since then they try to jack up your rent to the max every year. On top of the rent increases they find other sneaky ways to squeeze more and more money out of you. The way they treat long time tenants is truly despicable.
Nice apartments, safe area, and responsive staff.
I agree with sketchy about the new management. They are awful. I love this area and hate to leave, but I am seriously considering moving when my lease is up. I have already been told that my rent will go up. The parking changes they have made are ridiculous and a waste of time. I have to park much further away from my apt. than I did before. We constantly get memo's and notices stuck to our doors. I just received an eviction notice on my door claiming I had not paid my rent which I had and which my bank account reflects. I believe it was meant for an apt. with a similar apt #. To me this is totally unacceptable and inexcusable. Sad....it used to be so nice here.
