On the plus side, good location and decent interior. But it's noisy and the Cable Internet connection is almost useless. The whole place has obviously seen better days.

Nice location and architecture, but it's pretty overpriced for what you get. The apartments aren't that nice and the walls are really thin, so it can get pretty noisy. The leafblowers in the morning don't help with that. Bugs kept coming out of our shower drains. The in-unit washer and dryer are poor quality. The dryer left our clothes damp even after 2 cycles. The deposit is pretty small and you're unlikely to get it back even if you leave the apartment better than you found it, so don't even bother taking care of it. They're always renovating something to the point where it gets annoying. The timing of the pool renovation was particularly bad, it left us without a pool during half of the warm months. My car got a rust stain from a leaky pipe in the garage that hasn't come out yet. I got a parking violation notice once and when I went to the leasing office to ask about it the manager was really rude (she was also completely right, we just hadn't been told those spots in the 'open' garage were reserved, but she handled it very badly) Left after one year.

Pros: - Beautiful apartments with balconies or patios - Location - convenient walk to all the restaurants and bars in Mountain View and 2 parks - Pet friendly - Easy to get any maintenance work done - Google shuttle stop right outside Cons: - Pricey! - the gym needs a serious upgrade - thin floors but I also think it depends on who lives above you (this shouldn't be the main reason you don't live here)

Park place MOLD MOLD MOLD!! Enough mold to make our child sick. He would wake up at night with a bad cough and running nose. I had to clean around the windows and doors where condensation formed every weekend to hold back the mold. When asked to help with the windows, they said "they would not replace the windows, it isn't a big enough problem"......"We can clean the mold for you" $3000/month will get you nice windows that condensate! We had an infestation of worms come under our door. After repeated request to fix many issues, we just stopped asking. My family could not get out of there fast enough. Not worth the $3000.00 month rent. The grounds were OK, I gave it a 1 start because of all the dog feces on the grounds. Finally to top everything off, we were late giving our 30 day notice and they charged us 7 extra days. Even though we had all these issues, they did not care. SEE YOU LATER PARK PLACE/PROMETHEUS.

Stayed in these apartments for work. Had a comfortable peaceful stay. Used the gym and the pool extensively. The amenities could use some improvement but then who couldn't. Your stay will be smooth here. :)
