For an apartment complex in Palo Alto, it isn't very nice. The buildings are old and little things are an issue. Pros: The location is pretty good. It is not near any of the local nightlife but it is a short drive away. It's close to some good tech companies. I think it may be on the less expensive side of Palo Alto rents, and there is a lovely park across the street. Great part about the location is that it is right next to highway 101 which is useful. Cons: They provide basically no storage whatsoever, so it is very frustrating because they also expect you to store nothing on the patios, which seem to be just as big as the living rooms. The lack of storage is really bad because the rooms are tiny. Maintenance service is not as responsive as they claim, and sometimes it takes multiple tries for them to completely deal with the situation. There are a lot of bugs around here, and they are constantly trying to get into your apartment. The windows are very thing and do not provide good insulation or sound-proofing. And you are forced to have these white blinds on your windows that are not good at blocking sunlight at all.

Parker Palo Alto is the best! The front desk staff are incredibly courteous and always looking out for the residents. It is a popular apartment complex so there will always be sour grapes (see the other reviews), but for everyone who has normal expectations will be pleasantly surprised at every turn

The Parker Palo Alto doesn't deserve a single star. They do not do their work with good intentions or the customer service and care that people deserve. When you need someones assistance, you will get someone you have never spoken to before or your call will be forwarded to another person who is unavailable. Nothing gets accomplished!! Your move in paperwork will be incomplete, inaccurate and confusing. Your move out will be processed by someone you have never heard of. Your deposit won't get returned within 21 Days as California Law states. Personally, we have waited 24 days without knowing if the check has even been mailed! Your maintenance request does not get completed in good time. You basically give up your Democratic rights when you move into Parker Palo Alto and you are at the mercy of unhelpful people! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT consider living at this run down apartment complex in Palo Alto. The general consensus in the building and the source of many neighbor conversations is that the manager named Lillian is RUDE, DEMEANING, and UNPROFESSIONAL. She will only return your calls/emails if it is to her benefit - otherwise you will spend your life trying to get her on the phone. I am tired of all the drug dealers on the property. I am tired of hearing about violent crimes and the manager Lillian doing nothing about them. I am tired of living in a run down complex where no effort is made to fix things to even a reasonable level of habitability. Since Lillian has taken over as manager, this complex has gone downhill. She truely is incompetent. I am moving as soon as my lease is up.

I have never written any sort of reviews before in my life, but I am so mad with Parker Palo Alto and I have to mention this. I have left my holding depost a month ago and I have not received it back yet. They persuade you to leave the holding deposit saying that they can guarantee the place for 72 hours. However, they deposited my check after less than 48 hours and it was cashed right away. I have been talking to Adam there for the last 3 weeks already 5 times. They keep going back and forth about the check being mailed or not. (They say the check was mailed a few days ago, but I never receive the check and check back with them and they say that the check will be mailed tomorrow, etc.) I have wasted so much time talking to them to get the check back. The amount is $500 and this is the most ridiculous thing that I had to go through. The management is really hard to work with and not responsible for what they did. There is absolutely no customer service. Please do not leave holding depoist with any of the prometheus properties, since Adam keep saying it is corporate's fault, not his.
