I have lived here since January and have had too many problems for the short time frame. I moved in and there was no fridge, I had to call the office, the maitnence man they sent didn't have a truck so I had to go and pick up my fridge from there "warehouse". I signed up for the online rent payment and have had problems every month with paying it. they are updating the apartments on the outside but the insides are super old. My cabinets were basically falling out of the ceiling due to improper instilation and it took them a two months to come out and fix it. I thought when I moved it I would be paying for quality but I am paying around $175.00 over the rent that I signed on for due to "aded" utilities that were never mentioned when I signed my lease. They need to get there office staff up to date on what there residents will be paying for and explain it more when they are moving in. I was under the assumption after asking that I would be paying for water, Valet trash and my rent. They added on pesticides, city trash, gas ( everything in my apartment is electric) as well as a few other fees. I am severly dissapointed with these apartments I would say townhomes but you are paying townhomes prices for a cheap apartment. Please go somewhere else.

Worst place I have ever lived. No customer service. Overpriced for the dilapidated townhouses they rent out. No maintenance requests are answered. I received the follow up message to my review, tried to call the number, and it is not answered by anything other than a computer, very helpful. I stand by my review that this is a horrible place to live. My rent is not correct for the month and the office told me the manager is not here so they cannot help me. This remains the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. If 0 stars was an option, that is what Parktown deserves. To add to the fun my car has been broken into twice, the lawncare "specialists" broke my car window, and never a call back from the management.

I have never been happy here. We only moved in here because we were desperate and this was the only apartment community that had openings when we needed to move in AND, they had a free rent special. The only good thing about this place is that my kids are in great schools and I am close to my work and the town is great. We pay WAY to much to live here. We moved from a 4 bedroom HOUSE with a dbl garage and our own fenced in yard paying only $950 a month for that. We pay over $1200 here (that does include all the ridiculous trash, water and whatever other 'fees' they want to add) for a three bedroom. OH and since its to dang small we also pay over $40 a month for a storage unit to hold our stuff that wont fit here. So total we pay about $1300 a month just for somewhere to live (FOR NOW) we will NOT be renewing our lease. Yeah there's a pool (don't let the pictures deceive you it's not as nice as the pics make it look) but if you have a family and don't want your kids subjected to trash don't move here and try to visit the pool unless you go EARLY in the morning. There are ALWAYS hoodlum teenagers cussing and acting a fool there even fighting and getting drunk, TEENAGERS which is against the law. There is NO supervision at all. I think the property owners would WANT to know what is going on in case someone gets hurt and they get sued for it. Also my husband put in a work order over a month ago to have our dishwasher fixed, its falling out of the wall and we have to push it back under the counter every time we use it. Still not fixed....... Now our tubs are clogged and we cant shower. I called Monday morning to put in a work order, no one has come (its Wednesday). I called again today and I was told the work order was never put in. I was also told that they didn't know when they would be here to fix it, they couldn't give me a time OR day.....My husband works in grease oil and gas all day. He NEEDS to be able to shower. I go to work tonight and haven't showered since Sunday, I work with peoples food.......I NEED to shower!!! we pay WAY to much to not be able to take a shower in our own 'home'!!! Yes I could shower and let the water build up in the tub BUT the water that has backed up is disgusting has hair and dirt in it. I do NOT want to stand in that. I want to clean my tubs before I stand in it or let my kids stand or bathe in them. They will also surprise you with a 'pet rent' fee (paid monthly) PER PET, ON TOP OF your pet deposit. We have a female cat that is fixed and destroys NOTHING. I was told that pet rent was to cover damages (I thought that's what pet deposits were for) she said deposits don't cover it all. If your pet damages nothing you still don't get any of this money back, so they will be making bank off of us as our cat hasn't destroyed anything but they will get $360.00 off us on top of our pet deposit, just because. There is also a 'parking pass' fee they will hit you with. You'll pay over $1,000.00 a month but still have to pay to park at your apartment.... Also there is ASBESTOS in some of the units. We were made aware of this AS we were signing our lease........ they just randomly threw in a waiver we had to sign about it. I was like wait, what!! Uhm NO! I made them test our unit before I signed ANYTHING about that. Asbestos is linked to causing cancer!!. BE SURE you have your apartment CHECKED for this before you move in if you go ahead and decide to live here. I would've taken living in a hotel another week before I subjected myself and kids to ASBESTOS!! closet doors are jacked up. I agree with a previous review they have never been fixed we moved in with them like that and were made aware we were moving in pretty much on a 'as is' basis.

Erika is so right! The water in one of the ensuite bathrooms smells horrible. The leasing office left me a note to speak to the manager but she hasn't returned any of my calls. The place is run down and needs extra tlc to keep it running but the new management has the worst maintenance team I have ever encountered. 7 requests in 3 weeks and I've only seen maintenance once and I had to flag that one down. I moved here two years ago and from week two, my unit has been falling apart. The previous maintenance was below par but at least they would show up.

When I first moved here I thought it was decent. Especially since I got my 3 bedroom 2 bath on special for the same price as a 2. However, since I've lived here there hasnt been a steady office personnel and the office manager in that office is ridiculous! I moved into my townhome noticing the putried smell of smoke and animals which I dont have and dont smoke so i requested carpet cleaning to be done and it wasn't ever done!!! I also have not had a working master bathroom since October 2013!!! The water smells of SEWAGE!!!! I've put in MULTIPLE requests and not one person has showed up!!! I even complained to the "office" they put requests in but there's no action!! In the winter, my heater stopped working and my home was a cold 60 degrees!!!! I have a 6yr old in my home!!! I complained multiple times and it took 2 weeks to get someone here to fix it!!!! A few weeks ago I also started hearing weird scratching noises within my walls...come to find out there were RATS living within my walls!!!!! The townhomes are OVERPRICED for the conditions that they are in!! Not to mention that since I've lived a year here there has been 2 owners! Rent here at your own risk!!!
