this is by far the worst place I have ever lived. when we first went to move in the office manager assured us we were getting a brand new remodeled apartment home. the day we finally got to move in, the carpet was completely covered in stains, dents and broken appliances, the washer and dryer that we were promised were Mia. the sliding door didn't open, the dishwasher had mold in it. honestly I wish I could post pictures on here to show exactly how bad it was. at that point we put in 7 work orders of all of the urgent / broken things in the apartment. that was March 16th. these items (including the moldy dishwasher) just got fixed on monday!! AND the only reason they got fixed is because I called the city inspector, they came out, I showed them all of the emails that were exchanged and the preserve at city center was given a notice to fix all of these problems including our only toilet that we hadn't been able to use in over a week. Then on top of all of that, as if it couldn't get worse, this morning I discovered that the bedroom (where my one year old sleeps) the floor under the bed was soaking wet and the carpet, boxes and wall were covered with MOLD!!! I spoke to the inspector again this morning and they informed me that the apartments have 24 hours to get rid of the mold and that they would need to provide somewhere else for us to stay during this process. I spoke to the assistant manager (whom was suprisingly very friendly) and she told me that the mold (that was growing on the walls and in the carpet) is completely gone but we will need to stay out of the apartment for 2 days. she then stated that she will "call me right back" to let me know about the living arrangements while we can not be in there. that was 4 hours ago. they now close in 40 minutes, I have called 9 times and have not yet gotten a response back. if I could rate these apartments any liwer, I would. Also the apartment manager tried to tell the city inspector that we never contacted them about all of these issues. she is the one that we have had 90% of our contact with and all of the emails exchanged (the same ones we showed the inspector) were exchanged with her. this truly is the worst place to live. it's next to impossible to get anything fixed. they won't give you a hard copy of the lease and we were forced to sign it on our phones. she told us we had until the 5th to pay rent with out a late fee. I paid it on the 5th the first month and we got charged an additional 135.00 she started it was for a late fee, a fee for taking a signed document to our door and honestly I don't remember what else. bottom line is that you can not trust her (property manager) we then tried to pay over the phone and she said no. we tried online and they were going to charge an additional 25.00 to pay online. seriously the worst place ever. I truly wish I could post pictures and screen shots of our interactions.
The office staff is GREAT! We love living here the neighbors are great kids play with each other and we always feel safe. The apartments are older but updated often and the prices are the best in town for the service we received! We are looking forward to living here for a while.
Worse place I have ever lived the management sucks they don't fix any thing it took them 2 months to get me a new fridge. I moved in 10 years ago and they haven't fixed anything from when I moved in. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!?
All the apartment pictures do not look like the actual thing. When i first moved in, maintence has left cigarettes, and drinks in the apartment. Also, The carpet was discusting and not new. It was warn out. The staff in the leasing office is very nice and kind, But they will come in when they please and dont give any notice. other then that, the community is quite and no real loud nosies. Just on occasion. Lastly, great location, we can walk to the grocery store, Very close to the mall and the highway, and maintenice is fast when you need something fixed.
