Now that we have moved out and the front office manager has moved on I think the Preserves will be a better place. The apartments were very nice and comfortable and the maintenance staff was courteous and professional. The front office staff was nice, courteous and attempted to be as professional as they could but they were held back by the front office manager who has since moved on! I think the staff will be better suited and the preserves will be a great place to live! I gave it a 3 because of the previous front office manager but the living conditons were a lot better than a 3!
The courtesy officer isn't racist, he's a culturalist. He's keeping the complex livable and enjoyable for everyone. This complex would be better, if only rid of people like the last poster, who clearly lacks any understanding at all. He/she blames behavioral tendencies and low standards of living on race. That's not race. That's culture, and I hope he/she receives that "discrimination" in every aspect of life until things finally click. This place is great, drop by and give the courtesy officer a gift basket to say thanks for dealing with people like the last poster.
I've lived here at the Preserve at Greison Trail since September, 2009. I spent my first year in a one-bedroom (Maple floorplan) and the last year and a half in a two-bedroom (Oak). Overall, I've been very pleased with my stay here; the Preserve is my fourth apartment complex I've stayed in in the Newnan area. My first year, in the 800 building, I had some security concerns. My particular apt was very close to the road (Greison Trail) and literally within walking distance to a BP convenience store across the street. The grounds are completely accessible on this side of the complex, and I was disappointed to find my car had been broken into and radio stolen while parked right outside my apartment. Hopefully management can eventually address the security problem on that side of the complex. Since I've moved to the Oak floorplan (300 building), things have been much better; I'm right across from the pool (which is fantastic, by the way), and my balcony now faces a wooded area that offers nice scenery and more privacy. The apartments themselves look very nice, and I've only had minor issues with maintenance; never had a problem with any appliances and/or HVAC since I've lived here. The walls (floor/ceiling in particular) are not very-well insulated; I often here stomping from my upstairs neighbor, but it doesn't bother me too much - I'm sure they can hear me as well. The highlight of the complex is, by far, the pool/clubhouse area. The pool is nothing short of amazing - crowded at times, but amazing. You get to know the "regulars" during the summer months, and as long as you follow the policies around the pool, it's a great time. My only gripe would be the clubhouse billiard table; after too many kids playing on it, the table really shows wear and tear (you'll definitely want to bring your own cue stick). Overall, these apartments have been a pleasure to call home these last few years. The management (including the courtesy officer) is professional and pleasant. I've had ..difficult moments with the staff at times, but I respect that they maintain a nice community here in an otherwise not-so-nice part of Newnan. The holiday parties/events that the staff provides are also a nice perk. I would definitely recommend these apartments!
The courtesy officer at this complex seems to harass minority residents. He constantly interrogates them regarding their residency status and alleges to receive complaints when he sees the minority residents attempting to utilize or enjoy the amenities. This complex need to hire a better courtesy officer before they are slapped with a discrimination suit.
