This past summer, my parents and I started looking for a summer home on Cape Cod. My mom’s family owns a home in Hyannis, but all of us are older now, so we need a home with more space. We needed some consultation to begin our search. So, my parents have known Ipyana for many years. After a good meeting, Ipyana sent us to the Proper Realty Group website and had us view selected videos of every property he thought might interest us. We live in New York, so this technology was extremely convenient and really efficient. We have yet to buy, but when we do, we will be sure to continue using Ipyana and Proper Realty as our go to team.

I can't say much about Proper Realty as my dealings with the company were with Alex Zhang only. What I can say though is that Alex is great at what he does. When I told him my partner and I were looking for a place he began searching for us right away. He drove us around looking at apartments until we settled on one we both liked. He was there to help us along every step of the way and willing to work with us when finances didn't work out just right. In the end we were both happy with Alex's level of customer service and easy-going attitude. I would definitely work with him again. Thanks Alex!

As an interior designer attention to detail is of utmost importance. It is something my clients appreciate in me, and I in turn appreciate in others. Ben is my brother and though I of course love and respect him, I have a new found extremely high regard for his attention to detail. Ben recently put me in contact with one of his clients. This client was looking for help in renovating two bathrooms and updating a kitchen in a Beacon Hill condominium in preparation for putting it on the market. There is a long way to go before the home is finished and ready to list. Most other agents would fade away until they were needed. Ben has been in constant contact with his client as well as myself wanting to keep in the loop and know as to the status of the renovations. He has also recommended a contractor to do the work. His attention to all the details of the renovation as well as high amount of attention he pays to his clients and willingness to go the extra mile speaks volumes for the service he provides to his clients.

As a aspiring real estate agent, this group has been instrumental in helping me figure out whether this profession is ideal for me. After my service in the navy, it is quite refreshing to have an environment that fosters learning and encouragement of newcomers in an otherwise competitive field. I approached other agencies about shadowing brokers and real estate agents, and my experiences have been less than favorable. However, this group combines professionalism, encouragement, while still maintaining a competitive position in the real estate market in Boston. Not only was I allowed to shadow the agency but I was given expert tips in preparing for the upcoming real estate examination. Noteworthy, I was able to shadow Alex Zhang, who was extremely helpful in showing me what a typical day in the life of a real estate agent would be like. He was patient, encouraging, and was very friendly and professional. This experience has been quite invaluable and I am grateful for the opportunity. I highly recommend Alex as a mentor and an agent who goes above and beyond for his clients, customers, as well as newcomers to the industry.

This year I decided to get my own place outside of the BU campus. I cannot express how tough a decision that was for me. The logistics were awful, but my future roommate and I decided that's what we wanted to do. We were not looking forward to the process of finding the right place with the right agent and we sure did look around a ton for the perfect match, but we found it here with Proper and, more specifically, an agent named Alex. Alex Zhang carved out an incredible amount of time for us and was incredibly accommodating and patient. We were picky as hell and had to deal with work and school commitments so we were seeing places on weekends, nights, and I think there was a holiday or two sprinkled in there as well. I know I am not the most pleasant to be around when stressed, but I never felt judged or ostracized by him and that was very important in my decision to go with him as my agent and continue with him as my agent. On top of all this he was as professional and courteous as can be. He is simply pretty darn good at his job. I have never been the type to review things on the internet, but I wanted to hopefully return some of the favor to Alex in this way. Maybe someone will read this and give him a call or message. I even wrote some more reviews on Yelp to help some other places I like because of this. I created both a Google+ account and a Yelp account to do so. That is a sign of a job well done.
