One of the best experiences I have ever had during my off campus housing. My junior year I was lucky enough to live in a 2 bedroom apartment at Pura Vida. The bedrooms are spacious, along with large personal bathrooms of high quality. My favorite part about the apartment is the kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and a fully functioning stove/oven combination. It is so nice to live in an affordable luxurious apartment that is so close to campus. I will say however that the best part about Pura Vida is not the apartment, it is the management. There was never a time where I felt that the property manager didn't care about me as a tenant, or any concerns I had during move in. The property manager was always available (legitimately available 24/7) and was able to help me many times after the office had closed. One occurrence that sticks out the most to me is when I accidentally lost my keys to my apartment, and the property manager was able to meet me around midnight to let me in. Things like this are every-day personal amenities tenants receive at Pura Vida and I recommend anyone to take full advantage of what Pura Vida has to offer.

I am thoroughly impressed with Pura Vida Place. I am writing this review in regards to the manager Brian Sanchez. Brian is an amazing person. Not only is Brian a true professional, he goes the extra mile to make sure that your Pura Vida experience is a wonderful one ! He has worked in the after hours with me in order to guarantee an apartment. Brian reflects the true philosophy of the Pura Vida Place which is excellent accommodations, professionalism and dedication to fulfilling all the needs of the renter. Pura Vida Place is a five star establishment all around. I recommend Pura Vida Place without hesitation!!

This is a beautiful place to live. It's right across the street from CSU and I have plenty of time to go home in between classes. I don't need a car as it's walking distance to everything in old town. My apartment is spacious and clean. The commons areas are always clean and there's a grill out back I can use anytime. The manager was very helpful and worked with me to get in my place before I had expected.

I lived in Pura Vida Place my senior year at Colorado State and had an overall great experience there. Signing and moving in/out was very convinent and flexible, the quality of the apartments were outstanding and very comforting throughout all seasons. Pura Vida made my experience at CSU better then it already had been. The management although going through changes was not terrible to deal with, it was easy and convienent to pay utilities and rent and they did not breath down your back while being a tenant of PV. The location is unbeatable, not only for campus access but to old town and other Fort Collins attractions which makes everything very easy and enjoyable. I recommend PV to anyone interested in staying in a comfortable, convinenet and very nice place while in Fort Collins.

This place is absolutely horrible. Stay away!!!! I didn't want to write a review until I had received my security deposit back but I can wait no longer due to a sense of civic responsibility compelling me to share my experience with the rest of you. The worst thing is the management. They use an outside managing company and the people do not care at all. They just switched from ConAm to a new company and the new company is even worse. There is no phone number to call the manager and the manager is pretty much never in the office. The people do not care about the tenants and they only care about getting as much money as possible. They are extremely hard to reach and you must constantly fight with them to be charged the right amount on bills. I have almost memorized my entire lease because I have had to argue with them about basic things so many times. We had a garbage disposal break and the repair person said it was installed wrong and that it was not our fault. The manager said that Pura Vida would pay for it since it was covered under the construction warranty and to not worry asking the plumber to note anything saying that it wasn't our fault. Four months later we get a bill for $80 saying that it was our fault. This was so far after the plumber had actually looked at the issue I doubted he would remember and we figured it was easier to just pay the bill than to fight it. The management also went into our apartment at least one time without giving any prior notice or leaving anything saying they had entered. I know this because both of my roommates were out of town and I had accidentally left my keys and wallet at home. The units can only be locked with a deadbolt from OUTSIDE the unit with a key. I got home from work at 7 on a friday night and my apartment was locked. How had this happened? I tried calling the management number and the emergency maintenance line approximately 35 times and left multiple messages. I NEVER got a call back. Luckily my girlfriend had a spare key and let me back in Saturday afternoon after sleeping at a friends house. No one ever owned up to doing this. The construction is also horrible, we moved into our unit as new construction and there were scratches in the floor, dents in the appliances, walls where there was white showing through because it hadn't been painted well enough, cracked caulking around counters and in showers, and places where the vinyl had not been cut well so there were gaps between the flooring and the baseboards. Also the drywall tape started peeling off taking the texture and the paint with it at the end of the year. The walls are so thin I could hear my next door neighbor turn the shower knobs and was woken up every morning by the shower. If any music was being played next door I could hear the words perfectly even when it was at a low volume. In addition to all of this our upstairs neighbors could shake the walls to our apartment by just walking around. Not to mention when they threw parties or played dance dance revolution. We were told that these were premium apartments before moving in; that the walls had extra insulation for sound proofing and that the management would be attentive and kind. The first manager Allie was, but she quit after about 1.5 months and every other manager has been awful. I talked to multiple other residents with experiences similar to mine, some even had to get their parents attorneys involved. Be very wary.
