Poor!!!! I moved into Reidy Creek 12/01/2012. At the time of the initial walk through, I voiced my concerns that the apartment was an old apt w/ stains and chips on the counter tops, stains on the carpet, old washer/dryer, old dishwasher, no drip pans in the stove, and stains on the base boards behind the toilet. I was told that because it was not a refurbished unit they understood and I would not be charged for those items. I bought out my lease 06/14/2013 due to a new home purchase. I received a letter today stating that I owe Reidy Creek $340 and they are keeping my $600 deposit because: they are replacing the carpet $1050 + $55 for enzyme treatment (I don't own pets), I'm sure the previous tenants did, that would explain the carpet stains when I moved in, $75 pest control (Isn't this something they are supposed to do),,,just a FYI.. I am a very clean person no critters ) $20 for Non existing drip pans, $225 to re-glaze kitchen counter tops that were chipped and stained from the first day I moved in, $55 new paint (We spot cleaned walls before we left), $130 cleaning (I professionally cleaned the apartment before I left). Reidy Creek are a bunch of Reidy Crooks...I lived in this non-refurbished apartment for 6 months, now they are trying to charge me to refurbish their unit. I am going to sue them!!!!!!!!!

Oh Reidy Creek.... The guy below me is right. It should be named Reidy Crap! It would be a great starter apartment if it wasn't run by incompetent, awful, disgusting, lazy, terrible human beings. This is a real, true slum landlord situation- in all it's horrible glory. What it happening at Reidy Creek is a absentee property management firm (i.e. investor) has installed a "road block" manager. By this I mean that Roma (the property manager) is unwilling to do anything- and it is the property management firm who is encouraging her to treat tenants this way. You call the property management firm everyday for a month (I did) and they won't call you back. This place isn't interested in making your home a nice, safe, friendly community. They just want your rent check. Anything other than that, well, they simply couldn't care less. It's awful. You end up dealing crime, filth, faulty workmanship and a host of other problems- and the management isn't required to do anything to improve this or accountable for the way they treat tenants. The ironic thing is that Roma is an absolute idiot who doesn't actually understand what her responsibilities are as a property manager under the state of California's property managent laws. She truly, truly thinks that if she wrote something waiving responsibility into the contract then it's legally binding and she's fine to sit on her disgustingly obese butt and do nothing. She really doesn't get that a tenant or a landlord can't waive rights given or responsibilities written into the California Civil Code. That's the whole reason they are written INTO the civil code. Unfortunately- and this is the roadblock we kept hitting- the only way to MAKE her do anything, is to take her to civil court. So, in other words, you'll have to sue her to make her obey the California civil code. How terrible is that? My best advice if you've already signed a lease-- make a big stink every time you have to deal with her- believe me, being nice gets you no where. Call her for everything, threaten to sue, never be nice, keep on their butts, and generally, just be a gigantic annoyance to them. If nothing else, you'll feel better and she'll have a couple of hard days, which she deserves entirely. The woman is the epitome of lazy. She even rides the golf cart just to cross the street. If you haven't signed a lease... run as fast as you can in another direction. I wish I had been able to do that. I would have been saved a whole year of stress.

I am a tenant at Reidy Creek. I agree with the person under me. The management is horrible. If you try to get help they are extremely rude, unhelpful, and they rush you out so they can continue to do nothing but sit our their lazy behinds and collect money. The apartments are at best ok. You will have many maintenance issues that never get solved in a timely manner. It took 3 months for them to finally replace 2 light bulbs....LIGHT BULBS. I would've did it myself but the management would tell me where I could get them and they told me that only their technicians can replace patio and outside lights. The apartments aren't even put together nice. Yes, they have a fireplace, but unless you want your gas bill to be 4 times as much (i'm not being funny, it literally is 4 times higher) then you are better off not using it. I can't open my dish washer fully because it is next to the fridge so everytime I use the dishwasher I have to leave my fridge door open. The pipes all make funny noises, the maintenance team does maintenance at about 5-6 a.m. with absolutely no regard for the tenants. Parking makes no sense at all. My guest parking is about a block closer to my apartment then the spot they gave me. It's very noisy especially at night. The shower doors feel like they are going to fall everytime you hop in. For the price you pay, this place still isn't worth it. The only thing good about this place is what's around it. If you like working out, you are in luck as there is a gym within walking distance. If you like to drink, again, there is a bar about 3 blocks down the road. Other than that, I really regret moving here and I hope no one makes the same mistake I made.
