I lived at Riverview for just under two years after going through a rough divorce and it was by far the best apartment I ever lived in. I only moved out because I bought a home. Carmen and Bryan were so great to deal with and helped me out on several occasions. I had to let the apt go, but my house closing was delayed and I lived with my son in his apartment for 2 weeks. It was HORRIBLE, noisy, cold and way below upkeep in comparison to Riverview. I would highly recommend Riverview to anyone wanting a quality apartment with excellent personnel. It is so well insulated the electric never got over $80 and that was during the hottest months of the summer. The security is great and the elevator is a huge plus.

Tomorrow is my last day at Riverview and I must admit that it is sad to go. This has been the most pleasant experience I have ever had with an apartment community. Carmen, the Property Manager goes out of her way to make you feel at home. There is coffee in the lobby each morning and cookies for the Residents to come down and enjoy and the maintenance is the best with Bryan and Pedro. It is like a family here. The Property is cleaned daily and the grounds are really nice too. There are some residents here like any community that are ungrateful, but you will find that anywhere. The utilities are low and the apartments are beautiful and very safe. I have had 2 years here and I have no complaints. I am moving in with a friend to help with expenses so she can keep her home, otherwise, I would renew for a 3rd year. You will love it here!

Riverview "Luxury" Apartments is the most unprofessional apartment community in the state of Georgia. If you happen to be considering this complex as your future home, please take this time to redirect yourself elsewhere. This community as well as the company that owns them (Wilkinson Asset Management) is not accommodating whatsoever. They have changed property managers in the last two years like under garments. Within the first lease of being at the community, the second elected property manager there during my lease caused major flooding damage which affected my unit as well as several others. Although they move me into a "downgraded" apartment, they expected me not only to pay my normal rental rate, but also pay the deductible of the rental insurance in efforts to get my items cleaned and stored away due to the property managers negligence. After going through hell and high water, I was finally able to get the property's company to pay for the deductible even though they told that they normal don't do that as if to make me feel like they were doing me a favor. I just figured that it was a common courtesy to take care of your tenants especially when the community's property manager is the reason for the inconvenience. Since then, there has been another elected property manager and boy have things declined since this one's arrival. If you so happen to have a noise complaint, don't expect the current manager to do anything about it as she told me and I quote "There's nothing I can do about it". To add insult to injury, the noise complaint I had was about a dog being left outside for hours at a time barking relentlessly which is located right under the managers apartment. There has been a pool promised to this community every since I moved there two years ago. There's has yet to be any form of construction dedicated to that process. There are absolutely no amenities unless you consider a computer lab with one dated PC the currently runs off of Windows XP that doesn't print. No fitness center, on-site laundry, or sporting courts. There is one convenient device they do possess. They have two elevators in the community that work from time to time. However, if you are running late for work or being chased by an ax-wielding murderer, I advise you to take the stairs due to the elevator's slower than molasses operation. Back to the current manager, no offense to the Hispanic community, but unless you can comprehend there native tongue, you may need to bring a translator with you to decipher what she's trying to convey. If you long for nostalgic sitcoms like "Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego", then you come to right community. Given that the current manager's name is Carmen, she really embodies the roll of Carmen San Diego since locating her "during normal business hours" is like finding a needle in a hay stack. If you so happen to take that plunge and lease there, upon doing your move out walk-through, make sure Cinderella that apartment otherwise you WILL be nickled and dimed for everything not thoroughly cleaned. They expect you to clean the stove's drip pan tray, under the built-in microwave, and subtle scuffs on the walls which were to be painted over. The dumpster area is always overflowing with trash which attracts snakes from the river located behind the complex. There are so many nuisances that can be address in this form, but I think I've gotten my point across. You have been thoroughly warned about the antics of this complex as well as the company that own them. I did enjoy one thing about stay there and that was the use of real granite counter tops. Please be advised however, those luxurious counter tops are going to eat away at your paycheck since they have increase their rental rates by $100 in the last year. Proceed with caution. You've been warned.

This place is one of the worst, management is a huge joke the apartments are way over priced. And there's not modern day upgrades , it was built at first for a retirement home with no improvements very poorly constructed cracks in walls and around doors , carpet stained in hall of urine and dog mess , seen it there for days at a time , no sound proofing can hear your next door neighbors using the bathing even snoring pluse your in the worst part of town , elevators are so slow and ran down the doors take 20 min to open plus they rather you be an older person so they can over pricing them and won't complain about the lack of soundproofing plus no fire walls so if one apartment catches fire your's will be next, management isn't even qualified to work at a fast-food place it's scary when someone is trying to run apartments and every thing they write is misspelled , plus her friends live here and if they complain about any noise , witch it's there own fault she brings them to people's apartment and harasses the plus management just walks in a digs around with there friends place needs to be shut down are bulldozed , places like this should be against the law

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE! The management has changed for the third time and it changed for the WORSE. First off there is no insulation and you can hear when your neighbors fight, sex, parlay, etc. Secondly You are now charged a monthly pest control fee, "rubs" water bill (where you divide the water amount according to the people in your apartment and the neighbors), The property manager Katrina is unprofessional, rude and I do not think she has any experience of running anything let alone an apratment building. The only peope I see her leasing to now is young fresh college students who are just trying to find an apartment. Everyone is moving because her company has overpriced these small "luxury" apartments. Luxury = a slow elevator, scratched "cherry wood cabinets" and laminate wood floors. Save yourself the headache and the bogus past due charges they will will try to charge you and find somewhere else to live...kennesaw has better apartments and cheaper and this is freaking Canton...oh and there is no grace period for rent..its due on the first of the month..the next day is a 50 dollar late fee and 10 dollars everyday after that...so if your check doesn't comee on the first for sure be ready to shell out that extra money!
