My now husband and I lived at Rosemont for just a year in 2013. In that time several maintenance/appartment employees would enter our apartment without informing us. The people above us were constantly fighting. It sounded either like a death match or a orgy at all times of the day. We had informed the managers several times before but I am sure they never did anything about this matter. The hallways constantly smelled of puke, and the grass always had dog poop on them. I could live with all of this. Until less than a month ago Hubbell Realty's lawyer sent us papers informing us that we owed them $950 for the carpet we had to replace for them from two years ago! I had to go to the bank and make this poor lady search through my check history to find this specific payment! On top of all of this my husbands friend was living with us also. Without informing us they let him sign out of the appartments contract and get another appartment with them. We didn't find out till we went to talk to him and his room was empty. Don't ever rent from Hubble at all because the moment you think you are free from them is the moment they will come after you. Get some better managers and maybe your records will be better!

This place is absoultely terrible. If you like your sleep at night or if you work nights and need to sleep during the day then find somewhere else to live. Maintenance is absoultely horrible. We moved in in july and the light in the bedroom didnt work we reported it as we finished moving in on june 30th it wasnt until mid september when they came and fixed it. Our main door was broken as well and wouldnt lock all the time so we had to leave it unlocked when we werent home and it took them over 2 months to replace that as well. Management is the worst thing possible here. They dont do anything about issues with neighbors or ppl that make your life hell and threaten you and ur family. People play extremely loud music all hrs of the night then get mad if your kid id being a kid and playing at 5 in the afternoon because they are making to much noise. Management doesnt make sure your issues are fixed or see if maintenance has done there jobs. There are still issues that we reported multiple times back in january still not fixed. I would suggest for the price of rent to find a nicer better place that management will treat you better.

If you like to sleep at night, if you enjoy spending quiet time in your apartment, if you like being able to watch TV at a reasonable volume to hear it then don't move into the Rosemont place apartments on east Rose ave. I like my apt and I like the location but my up stairs neighbors pound so mush and so loud its like living under a sub woofer or a constant thunder storm my living room ceiling is starting to crack and I have complained to management several times but it does no good they turn it on me that I must have done some thing to provoke them. I pay $825.00 a month and I don't feel I should have to go to a motel to get a decent night sleep. I would consider moving but I am in a 12 month lease but after my lease is up I will consider moving but until then I feel like I am being held hostage in an apartment I cant enjoy. Also the front door to our building had a broken lock on it for over two months... Then they installed a brand new door... Going on week two with it and there is still no lock... Their intercom for paging the apartment worked for the first five days since I moved in then it hasn't worked since... I have been here for around six months... I rented out a garage with them and one day I went too look in my garage for some utensils and there was a sign on my garage door stating that they didn't have any record of anyone ever owning it and if I didn't respond within ten days that they would clear it out... They need to realize that they are managing apartments... They need to get all of their data straightened out... Their repair man is a pretty nice guy and he is usually fast at repairing but one time when I filled out three different repair orders it took him three weeks to get here... He said that he was behind... Which means that everyone is having problems and management cannot keep up... I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone.

its really sad.... because.... this place used to be great.... I had a nice little one bedroom with a GIANT balcony... and never heard ANYONE unless they were in the hallway (which was no big thing) the lady at the leasing office was great and super helpful... then suddenly one day management became these snobby women they were extremely rude. I moved out in January, and they waited 4 months to return my $40 out of my $300 security deposite (note, my apt was cleaner leaving then when i came in) and they would screen my phone calls, not answering when i called for my own number (I wish I was kidding).... there was a VERY nice maintenance man there and I always thought they were rather prompt with repairs (unless they forgot.... just bug them) And really, the security doors dont work when people just let other people in. I would have rated this a 5 in January of 09 before the neighborhood got bad and they got new management. So so sad :-(

Compared to the surrounding apartments that we have looked into, this apartment complex is by far the superior choice. Its clean, well kept, well worth the price, and what appears (first impressions) to be a professional management team. It's only been our first month renting so I'm only going to give it four stars for now.
