Large intelligent maintenance crew, friendly eager to help staff, happy neighborhood. Lots of amenities. Be smart ... buy a security system because this is the city. Show some understanding ... these are not brand new apartments, things do break down sometimes, but maintenance takes care of it quickly. Not sure what else to say .... lots of happy children playing outside and beautiful ponds ... lots of wildlife but no pests.

Great looking apartments with horrible internal problems and the worst management you can imagine. We did not have a working toilet for 2 months before they finally came and fixed it. We also had several light fixtures in the apartment not working, and we finally moved out due to all of these issues. We followed the proper procedures for terminating the lease, but I messed up and signed a paper that killed any legal recourse I had with the company, which caused us to pay the early termination fee of over $1000. They advertise being able to pay using a credit card online, but they often don't post your bill by the due date either online or in the mail. There is no option for custom amounts to pay online, so it makes it impossible to pay using your credit card on time. This happened to us several times, and management's response was that we knew the amount each month and should have been able to make the payment using other methods. Sorry, but I can't go out and get a checkbook from my bank at the spur of the moment and do not feel safe carrying large amounts of cash in that crime ridden complex. Management does not care about your issues. The community website has daily complaints of repairs not being made after months. The management will just look for any way to get your money without doing any of the work that they agree to in the lease. I'm fairly well educated, and have studied contract law in school, but I still was unable to overcome their strong arm tactics. If you want to roll the dice and assume that you'll never need to contact management, feel free. Just know that once one thing goes wrong, your experience will probably go downhill very quickly.

Do Not Live Here!!! My wife and I have lived here for just over a year and we couldn't wait to get out. We always had problems with the heating and cooling system. Not enough heat in the winter, and in the summer the A/C condenser, which looked like it was older than Willie Nelson, constantly ran out of freon. Each time our air conditioner broke it took days for them to come fix it, and they said that it wasn’t an “emergency” because the outside temperature wasn’t above their decided level. I tried to explain that it was 82 outside, but the temperature in our 2nd floor unit was even higher, sometimes approaching 90. This didn’t sway them one bit, and I couldn’t persuade them to come out any quicker. Their answer was to open a window….even though we had just established that it was over 80 degrees outside. The kitchen floor was uneven and had sagging spots that got noticeably softer in the time we lived there. Windows are very drafty in the winter, and holes in the window screens that they won’t replace let all kinds of insects in during the summer. It gets really cold in the winter so we had to blast our heating up and caused our bill to climb. The railing leading up the stairs to our loft was extremely shaky & unsafe. We asked that maintenance come secure it or at least tighten it somehow, but were told when they came to look at it that there was nothing that they could do, and that it was “plenty stable”, it was definitely not. The sidewalks are never salted or shoveled. My pregnant wife fell multiple times on icy sidewalks between the parking lot and the front door of our building. When we requested something be done we kept getting blown off or told that it would be, but nothing was ever done. I literally went to the store to buy ice-melt and a shovel so that I could it myself. The "amenities" that they brag so much about are a joke. The weight room that they kept promising us was about to be “improved” when we signed our lease was open less than a month after we moved in and never reopened……it still isn’t by the way. The outdoor pool was always in need of repair, and rarely open do to cracks, debris, or green water. The indoor pool was open more frequently, but was less than appealing as it looked like it was cleaned maybe once a year. The water was so cloudy that you couldn’t see the bottom from the 6ft end. There were bugs, hair, and God knows what else floating in it constantly. The “playground” area looked less than safe, and had crowds of unruly highschoolers congregating on it so often that we rarely ever noticed any young children enjoying it. After moving out we were charged for all kinds of ridiculous things that were completely groundless. After all of the headaches we dealt with while living there, being smacked with a charge of several hundred dollars upon moving out was just the icing on the cake. This place may look nice on the outside but after you sign your name on the dotted line, you will regret it!!
