this place sucks big time. Guys STAY AWAY ....this is the noisiest place i ever lived in my life. There is not a single peaceful morning. You always wake-up with heavy sound of grass blower or wood cutter. Just imagine a guy cutting grass and then blowing it all over with 90's machinery and it is happening right next to your window..NO EVEN THIRD FLOOR DOESN'T GIVE ANY RELIEF. There is some kind of maintenance going on on every single fuking day and it's too noisy. When i complaint to management they said we need to keep our complex maintain...fck...really ?? is this maintenance ?? what about the comfort of residents. I JUST HATE THIS PLACE. SUCKERS.

Maintenance on big issues never solved. I stayed there for almost a year and the whole year the AC machine in the second room didnt work and inspite of how many ever times you complained, they come and see and say issue is solved but it still exists. Same issue i noticed in many of the other apartments also.... Petty issues were solved soon. Pool was good. Community is good. If you are readyto pay high then you can definitely choose this apartment.

Moved into Sonterra May 2009. We thought the large and pretty equal bedrooms were perfect for a roommate type living situation and the great pool didn't hurt either. We were wrong and have only even been to the pool maybe a handful of times. There is only one and it is always overcrowed with children running around. Upon moving in, we realized we were assigned an apartment that did not have the layout of the apartment we wanted or were shown while viewing. No one felt it necessary to inform us that an attached garage cuts the bathroom and closet of one room down significantly. We informed the office that this was a huge problem and needed it to be resolved immediately or we would need to find another living situation within the week. They moved us to another apartment that was what we signed on for. (of course we had to go through the hassle of changing our address, again and switch our services such as electricity, cable and internet over to the "new" apartment which resolved in billing complications for 3 months) Next, it wasn't long before we had some serious noise complaints. We lived on the second floor and complained about the new tenants living above us EVERY DAY and NIGHT for 6 weeks before we were told our only option would be to move units. We moved to a 3rd floor in another building and were told WE WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR MOVING EXPENSES !! We spent over $400 to move from one building to another ! We also were required to pay transfer of services fees for our cable, internet and electricity! To top it off, we moved into a dirty apartment! After all the inconvenience on our end, the 3rd floor apartment we were moving into wasn't even wipped down! It was disgusting !! One of the staff members made note of it when we did the walk through. THEN we were informed we had to EXTEND OUR LEASE ! That's right, in order to move apartments due to noise issues that management did not resolve, we had to sign an extended lease. Needless to say, we are very unhappy. The staff is also incredibly unorganized and inconsiderate. Example: there has currently been landscapers with leaf blowers, chainsaws and a huge wood chipper outside our windows for the past 3 days and NO ONE thought to notify the tenants of this inconvenience that happens every year? Seriously? I've complained to the office who's response was "the manager isn't here and as acting manager, I didn't know they were going to be here today. but we don't normally send out notices for tree trimming" Really? As "acting manager" you didn't know, ON DAY 3 MIND YOU, that they would be here nor did you think it necessary to inform the residents that there would be noise issues through the week from early morning well into the afternoon (until 2pm) ? A prime example of the absent-mindedness of the management at Sonterra. Briefly covering the prices and whatnot; Let's just say this: even at a "discounted" price, you'll be paying way too much for old and poorly mantained appliances, floors and countertops. The electricity is high due to poor insulation and every maintance ticket you'll file (and there will be many), will have to be filed and refiled due to reoccuring problems. Nothing gets solved or fixed here, ever. I would not recommend this place , to anyone.

I have been living here for the past 7 months. It is a good community. Office staffs are friendly and so are the maintenance staff. I would recommend if you are looking for an apartment in this area.
