M2 used to be a wonderful place to live. When the complex changed ownership, the new owners brought in a staff that truly does not care about the place or the tenants. If you have a question and need to speak with someone that works there, plan on standing in the office for at least 15 minutes before someone walks out to help you. If you need to pick up a package, make sure you have time to stand there while the staff walks around ignoring you or talking on the phone. Lastly, I hope you enjoy parking at the Walmart across the street....because that's where they want you to park when the lot is full (which is every night, by the way). Not to mention it's completely overpriced, even by Denver standards. Trust me, you can do better. Stay away.

I just wanted to say that me and my friend Joey had an awesome experience with the whole process of getting an apartment here. Jennifer, our agent was very helpful and awesome. She explained everything very clearly. I don't know how anyone would have any negative feed back on this establishment. Me and Joey are happy living here. Wes, the manager, has been great, too. As for any bad review - because you can't get an apartment here, for whatever reason, or don't get what you want, no reason to be mean about the staff. All of that is untrue. Just saying, Wes and Jennifer are awesome, helpful and friendly... not to forget good looking. And they are leasing lots of apartments - cuz the property and staff is awesome. Problems come up, because it's life. But they fix them.

I have read the reviews posted here and feel the need to speak up for the place I call home. I cannot believe that the rating is so poor, which only speaks for those who have not had a good experience. Those who have had a good experience clearly can't be bothered to take the time to share the positive, so here I am to put some of the garbage written here to rest. Do yourself a favor and put these reviews into perspective, there are 8 google reviews. There are 24 apartments in my building alone and there are over a dozen buildings in the complex. So, given how many people have and do reside here, these are nothing more than the poorly written rants of those who were likely treated better than they deserved. Most were written about the building company's temporary management and are not representative of the current community atmosphere or management. Greystar built this property and sold as soon as they could. This was the cause of ALL the old reviews talking about rude office staff. I agree. The Greystar people were not great, the transition staff during the sale of the property were even worse and almost caused us to move out. THANK GOODNESS for Wes, Lindy and their support staff! They work hard every day to ensure everyone who needs assistance is helped as quickly as possible. We have not had any major maintenance problems in either of the apartments we have rented here. That's right when our first lease was up, we loved it so much here we moved across the complex to a bigger unit. There are complaints about grounds keeping and parking. I can confirm that we do not have a landscaping problem. There is a company here twice a week to mow and all the details that go along with it. Yes, inconsiderate pet owners could make a better effort to clean up after their pets, but that's maybe 1 out of 25 dog owners and has significantly improved over the past 6 months or so. Parking on one side of the complex was a big problem for the first year - which was while Greystar was managing. Wes switched us to new parking passes in July and with an on site towtruck the parking has also improved significantly. If you are looking for an apartment in the Denver area you know that you have no less than a MILLION choices and the process you are embarking on is exhausting because all the properties have pros and cons. I URGE YOU NOT TO RENT A NEW CONSTRUCTION ON THE FIRST ROUND OF LEASES. The builders almost always sell the properties which means that the staff you move in to and the prices & deals they offer to fill the complex up are not going to last. This is upsetting when it comes time to renew because the experience has likely been rocky and prices never go down. That's exactly what has happened here and I think that Greystar should put more emphasis on building a better community rather than just the physical buildings because they do all the residents and the new owners a disservice by setting them up for failure as they have with this property. The negative reviews are unnecessary and not representative of the current management standards or the community atmosphere we have here at M2. We are now on our second lease in our second apartment here in the m2 complex and we couldn't be more comfortable in our unit and pleased with the personal relationships we share with the front office staff. The location is great. We are located just down the street from ANY retail store you need and the Southwest Plaza mall is nearing completion on a total overhaul renovation. We are 2 minutes from 285 and easily able to commute to anywhere. We find it comfortable and peaceful here with all the amenities we need. The clubhouse is always clean and the only amenity we don't have and wish they would invest in is a hot tub. The new management has done an excellent job turning everything around after the mess Greystar left and has not received any credit for it in these online review forums. We thank and praise Wes, Lindy & the M2 staff for the hard work they put in for us every day. We love it here and are confident that you will too.

This was a great apartment complex until Greystar sold the property. Care of the property drastically decreased. Try out Camden. Mandatory Valet trash was hardly picked up as scheduled and new tenants were either not given black bins to use or were no longer required to use them. Numerous times bags of trash would be outside neighboring apartments for two day periods because no one came by to pick them up. Dog friendly-cheers. But when the owners fail to pick up the poop, the property needs to make it happen through groundskeeping. New management is rude. Rent was raised from $1117 to $1275 in ten months (August 2014-April 2015). Upon move out, They made no effort to contact me by phone about outstanding cleaning fees they added on top of my security deposit. When questioned, the property manager told me she sends one letter and it is out of her hands. The 'letter' was supposedly sent to an address in another state that was not received by myself or the home owners of that location...and two months after my move out I received a collections call. Really? Lazy and inconsiderate. Cheers to working for a terrible property management company and not caring about your tenants. I see a lot of, "MOVE FAR AWAY" comments, or "it is an apartment complex after all" in other reviews...but seriously, once greystar walked this complex lost its reputation and worth. I will never reccomend this place to a stranger, let alone a friend. Don't let the 'beautiful' countertops and cabinets fool you. This place was built fast and without care, and it reflects on the new management.
