We stayed here for a year. You should be very careful in choosing the apartment. They claim that most of their apartment is gated but they have lot of apartments that are NOT gated. Especially if you are choosing an apartment that is on the roadside you should be very careful. We had incidents where people knock our doors in the middle of night and ask for some random things. We were very afraid to stay there. SECURITY is more imporant that then VIEW from the apartment. And apartment office does not take care of the security of the people. Many of the doors to the apartment is left open for months. They dont even have locks to that. Most of the time apartment staff in the leasing office is very rude. If in case if you are taking a apt in the second floor you should be worried about the strength of the floors. It makes lot of noise. BE CAREFUL WHILE CHOOSING AN APARTMENT FACING ROAD. SECURITY IS MOORE IMPORTANT THAN VIEW.

This is the worst place to live! Management can't manage themselves. The communication is horrible between maintenance and the leasing office. Don't plan on them responding to any of your orders until a month later. I was lucky to get help because i felt like i had to constantly bug them. They don't work together well because every time I call, I have to re-explain my story. We lived here for four years and paid 900$ four years ago and now 1897.00$ for the same one bedroom apartment! crazy! the windows are not even double painted! My advice, don't live here!

I'm really not sure where to begin. We just moved out after living here for 2 years, and the stories of the incompetent management are endless. The properly is managed by Greystar and I can't tell if they're the problem or if it's the staff they have hired to manage Summerwood. A few examples: 1. They proceeded with an apartment inspection to check our light switches and entered when we weren't home and hadn't authorized them to enter without our permission. They pulled couches away from the wall, moved everything on our kitchen counter, tousled through our bedrooms, and left paint and debris everywhere. I came home from work and was terrified that someone had broken into our apartment. Reported it to the front office- no response. 2. They decided to pave our portion of the parking lot and provided us with 2 days notice to not park in the area. We were out of town when they sent out the notice and started paving and came home to find our car towed (with our residence sticker on the car). Couldn't get ahold of anyone in the front office with any authority to do anything. Emailed up the chain of command, and never received a response back. $450 tow charge that we just had to eat. 3. We provided 30 days notice of us moving out, with paper confirmation from the front office. Our lease was up on the 14th of July, and we received a bill for the full month of July. We discussed it with the front desk, they realized their mistake, we paid what we owed, and they cashed our check. A few days later we receive a "pay or be evicted with legal ramifications" notice to pay our outstanding balance. I called and spoke with Jennifer- she said she was heading out to lunch by would give me a call around the 1pm hour when she was back and could take a look. I called her back at 3pm after I hadn't heard back- she said things were really busy and she would get to it when she could. Called the next day, nothing had been done about it. Finally spoke to Angelica (the best one in the whole mess) and she said she saw the error and fixed it in our file. This was last week. Yesterday, we received a "3-days to pay outstanding balance or risk eviction with legal ramifications" MAILED to our new apartment. Called the front desk, they said we still owed the outstanding payment for our rent as well as an additional charge as we didn’t give them the full 30-days notice (see paper documentation above). Unfortunately, even though they could see the error in our file they didn't have the authority to do anything until the manager was available. My fiance went down there today, in person, to try to get it squared away. They noticed that they had just filed our move out notification late, but again, couldn’t do anything about it until the manager was back. Why don't any of the 3 people working in the front office have authority to fix their own mistakes, and how do different people keep telling us our issue has been fixed when clearly it's not? I'm personally very worried that they'll send us to collections and then it would be "out of their hands"- wouldn't surprise me. That’s just a highlight of some of the issues we’ve experience. Forgot to mention that one of the reasons we moved out (aside from the horrible management) was because they increased our rent 27%. The apartments are nice, but not worth the headache of the management. My advice? Keep looking.

Everything you do here is wrong and management is looking for a reason to get more money always. They use recycled carpet that stains easy so they can get your 500 deposit. No kids play outside really, just absurdly like an overpriced prison at times.
