UPDATE 4/6/15: I hope to God that this is the final update. They're back down to a 1 star because they sent me a bill after moving out for over $600. Apparently I owed April's utilities (DESPITE leaving March 31st (and giving a month's written notice) AND March's even though I already paid it. They wouldn't back down on knocking it down at all. The most we got out of was the $188 for carpet cleaning because they screwed up the plumbing upstairs and there'd been a lot of damage. Don't live here if you can help it. It is just awful. UPDATE 3/12/2015: FINAL CAPTAIN'S LOG ENTRY (I hope) BUMPING FROM 1 STAR TO 2 WE ARE MOVING AT LONG LAST! We're breaking the lease, so no change of getting ANY of the deposits back, but it is what it is. The new management appears to be better. The parking lot still floods, the gutter in front of our apartment still gushes (we've asked for repairs more than once), and the assistant girl (Brittany?) seems to always be leaving early when I try to come to the office. When I (joyously) submitted my notice of intent to vacate, it was exactly 5:24PM and she was locking up. They close at 6PM. This is a common occurrence, which aggravates me to no end because I don't get home until just before 6PM or after on week days. Mold continues to be an issue even though we don't keep stuff against the wall. At this point, every set of blinds has fallen down at least once just from normal use. Submitting my letter of intent to vacate was one of the best days ever because I finally get to leave this place. UPDATE 6/20/2014: Now we've had a motorcycle stolen. I continue to hate it here. I am a current resident of the Aviator, have lived here for almost a year, and I can honestly say I have never hated living anywhere more. They lost our renter's insurance paperwork THREE times and served us an eviction notice. We had to hand deliver it to prove that yes, we had purchased insurance. They are closed on Sunday (note: I don't stop LIVING here on Sunday) and their hours suck if you work regular, weekday hours. I can never go to the office because it's always closed and they frequently leave early. As I type this, my washer is sitting with a full, wet load and is broken. It broke mid-cycle. My first week here, the stove blew up, we had an ant infestation, the fridge died, and the toilet wouldn't flush (as in, you push the happen and water just sort of dribbled, even when empty). The kitchen sink still is messed up. They had to cut a hole in my bathroom ceiling because they didn't connect a pipe upstairs properly which caused mold and water damage. Maintenance is sloppy and slow to respond. After they covered up the hole, they left goop all over my bathtub. We have had THREE sets of blinds just fall off of the wall when we were just trying to open them. The gutter in front of our door gushes water everywhere and splashes in dirt. I think the only appliance in here that hasn't had to be replaced is the washer and dryer, and that's about to go. It's freezing in the winter (as in, no insulation), but oddly hot when it gets above 60*. So it's 60* outside and 80* or more inside. No guests are allowed to park here, yet there's never parking. The worst part is that I can not presently afford to move, so I am stuck here with things constantly breaking. I do not recommend this place at all.

Been pretty happy so far. Its kinda in the hood but all the people I've met so far are pretty nice. Apartment has all new stuff and maintenance have quick to respond when I call. I read the other reviews and it seems people have a lot of problems here but I haven't had any. did have my car broken into once, but hey its an apartment complex so kinda comes with the territory right ? Overall not a bad place, but school district sucks so well be leaving in the next year or two. I would recommend this place to a friend.

My husband and I are current residents of the Aviators and since living here we have had various issues not only in our home but also with the office staff constantly serving us with notices after their lack of book keeping. We are constantly playing phone tags with the office as there is never anyone answering the phone during work hours yet you can only catch them early morning to which they always say they will have to call you back, to no prevail. You can never catch them at a decent hour as they tend to leave the office early, and the office is closed on Sunday! Our voice mail are always inundated with complaints about visitors, parking, occupancy at pool site, yet these rules do not apply to all residents as there have been various times there is no parking for anyone especially the residents to park here! Or there have been pool parties lasting way into the night with no concern for the neighbour's! Funnily they posted their pool rules a month before they closed the pool! smh! The only time we did have family and friends over was to celebrate my husbands birthday, to which we cleaned up after ourselves and left the pool 10x better than what it usually looks like without anyone there. Since then we have not used the pool or any of their facilities to date. Our bathroom tub has constant plumbing issues as well as drainage problems, which we have complained about since moving in, and the maintenance guys have only tried to fix the issue twice to no success! Our home is always cold during winter, but seems to be hot as hell during summer (lack of ventilation) and our fan above the oven seems to have a mind of its own when it wants to work or not! The view from our balcony has been overshadowed by 2 new homes making the appeal to stay here diminish by the day. Our current battle is with unwarranted late fees and misplaced money orders! Our lease expired in the month of September and we were due a renewal before the month of October started. For the duration of September i was constantly following up for a updated lease... it wasn't until i walked into the office on my day off and sat there while they emailed me the new lease, which was on the 3rd of October! after signing and submitting our payment we were slapped with a late fee as it was past the 5th of October. We were also served with a notice of eviction for payment that was made and received with in person by them as i showed them their receipt they gave me and copies of my payment. Currently the missing money order is still abroad and the constant voice mail phone tags continue. Needless to say we cannot wait to look elsewhere in the coming year. If we could have afforded to move at the end of our last lease we would have, but this fight must prevail and hopefully we can see this year end with a less stressful outcome! I would not recommend this place to anyone! :(
