The worst apartment complex I have ever rented from. If you value your sanity do not rent from this complex. The roofs all leaked. They lowered the rent to attract more tenets and moved in a bunch of crappy people. When I was living there in the period of a little under a year there was one murder, about ten domestic disturbance calls that police responded to, and drugs were rampant. Mind you not two blocks away is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Lubbock. Ended up paying nearly double on my pet deposit because they lost the paperwork and my deposit. Also trying to sublease this space to a friend and I am still having problems with them which may have to go to court to resolve. The best thing that can happen is that these properties are seized from DEI communities and brought under a new holding company. But that will never happen so don't rent from them and let them go broke. Update: Ended up owing them $3000 extra because they stalled on the sublease till the person I was trying to sublease to didn't want it anymore. And I'm talking about months. First they said he didn't pass the background check, then they backtracked on that and finally said that after being approved he didn't come back to sign the paperwork. He had already paid hundreds of dollars in fees an what not and when I spoke to him he said that nobody from the Boulders had even attempted to contact him. I believe this was their endgame the whole time. Stick us with absurd fines and fees for breaking the lease early without a sublet and then move someone else into the apartment and double their money. DO NOT RENT FROM THE BOULDERS AT LAKERIDGE. The best thing that could happen to this place is that it be closed down permanently. It is not safe, it is not cheap, the quality is horrible, and the management is at best atrocious and at worst criminal. I'm leaning towards criminal at this point.

Do not lease with them, this was by far the worst complex to rent from. We had major issues with our apartment from the start. They never answer phones and rarely opened the doors on time. Staff were incompetent and rude during 90% of any interactions. For example, my ceiling was leaking for MONTHS before I called the health department to inspect for mold. Then all of the sudden my 13 fix it requests were being acted upon. It took dramatic measures for the Boulders to provide a safe home that I was paying for! Now, several months after my lease has ended and my account settled, I have been sent to collections for a bill paid in full in Feb. 2015. Be wary to lease with them, look around before signing anything with Boulders. Tammy the new manager does a good job of trying to make things right, but overall the experience was negative and I am still paying for my choice to live there.

We are current residence. Like most apartments there is crap you deal with that comes with being at an apartment, things break etc.. We have never been late on rent and water is included. Our apartment will not get below 80 degrees in the summer. Recently our fridge went out and we followed the proper channels to get a new one. The Boulders replaced the fridge 4 days later! Over $75 dollars worth of groceries went to waste. The Boulders at Lakeridge had a "That sucks" attitude about it. I have placed a working thermometer in our "New Working" freezer to measure the temperature. On the proper settings, the freezer will not get below 60 degrees. 60 degrees in a freezer! That being said, grocery shopping is pointless at this point, and the "sucks to suck mentality" is still more than present.

Would give no stars if I could. Maintenance is terrible. Their idea of fixing my broken window was to replace it with another broken window and just put caulk in the hole. The latch on my window was broken so they screwed it shut. Problem fixed, right? The A/C is from the early 80's and leaks so much freon that they have to come fix it every month when it should last at least 6. And NOW, I'm trying to move into a house with my fiancé once we get married and EVERY subleaser I find is denied for some reason or another. One girl offered to pay the rest of the rent IN FULL and they denied her for something that happened 7 YEARS AGO. Then when I asked why everyone kept getting denied, the assistant manager was SUPER RUDE and told me I can either pay the early termination fee of $1500 and 2 months rent (almost $3000!!!) or TRY HARDER. It wasn't the overall manager, Tammy. She kind of tries to fix stuff, but I guess she doesn't realize that her maintenance half-asses everything, and her office staff constantly don't know ANY of the answers to my questions and are very rude. Horrible people. Horrible service. Don't live here.

Absolutely atrocious apartment complex. There are MASSIVE potholes in the parking lot that have been there for well over 8 months, despite numerous complaints from tenants. The maintenance is terrible, and will not fix things in the complex in a timely manner. I put in SEVERAL work orders for things the management is responsible for maintaining well over a year ago and they still have not been fixed. The electrical switches in my apartment are not working. The switch by the door, the switch to the fan in the bathroom, and the light switch to the closet all need replaced, and they FAILED to replace them. They have been broken for well over a year now. The outlets have poor connections and do not adequately charge electronic devices. It takes an entire night to charge a cell phone to 60%. THIS IS A POSSIBLE ELECTRICAL FIRE HAZARD!!! The require a 60 day notification of intent to move out of the complex, but do absolutely nothing to remind you when your lease is up. They also will charge you well over $1000 to terminate your lease as well as a re letting fee. They more than likely charge this amount to repair the things they SHOULD have repaired during the time the tenant is living there. The management is CONSTANTLY changing. The new management is absolutely terrible. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
