UNSAFE LOCATION AND INCOMPETENT OFFICE STAFF. I have been here almost two years. Within the last year, there have been car break ins every few months. There was recently a home invasion while the tenant was home. The "security gate" is a joke. People just wait for someone to open the gate then follow them through. The office staff will only respond to you in "canned" responses. They are either not allowed to or just don't know how to act human and only speak "boiler plate". No help when you have issues at all. Guest parking is always full. Maintenance is lacking. Electronic entrance to pool has been broken for almost a year. They give you a notice to prepare for a mandatory annual inspection, then they don't even show up. So fed up. When my lease is up, I'm outta here!

I lived at the Cascades for almost three years. It came at a time when I was going out on my own for the first time in twelve years. The staff at the Cascades was wonderful to me. They helped me and made my living there a great experience. Linda and Alexis are two of the nicest gals you will ever meet! The maintenance staff came in a timely manner and fixed whatever was needed. I moved only because I got a new job and had to relocate. I highly recommend the Cascades!

Living at the Cascades in Anaheim Hills was the worst living experience I have ever encountered. I got my car broken in to twice and and my fiance got her car broken into one time, as well. Management could careless about my encounter since they DID nothing and easily brushed me off. The apartment complex is gated but has no security surveillance. When the thieves broke into my car they stole my gate key along with other items. This pretty much gives them in and out access as they please. Management did not replace my gate key but instead charged me $50 to obtain another one. Currently they have one night time security guard to patrol the whole complex who waits by the gate and is on his ipad the whole time he is patrolling. Not to mention he leaves every 30-40 minutes to patrol other properties. BOTTOM LINE the Cascades admitted to not being able to afford security even though they charge a hefty monthly fee to live there. IF YOU WANT TO LIVE SOME WHERE UNSAFE AND DON'T MIND GETTING YOUR CAR BROKEN INTO EVERY 6MONTHS RESIDE AT THE CASCADES IN ANAHEIM HILLS.

First of all the management is horrible, the staff that are in the office nothing but disgusting attitude. The maintenance crew oh God you need to wait 3 months for a light bulb to be changed. Security? don't even believe in it , yes you are behind the gates but too many cars got stolen and broke in and they don't even try to call and ask a question . It looks nice from outside but nothing but trash inside very poorly done everything in the apartment from toilets to cabinets to carpet not worth a penny. extremely over priced , you can find much better places in this area for less money.

I've had a very hard time trying to get things fixed in this complex. I've lived in two of the apartments here and both times we've had lots of problems. In the first apartment we had issues with the guest bathroom plumbing, the gas was not turned on, the apartment was clearly left un-finished by the cleaning crew (tape covering over places that were painted, missing light covers, etc) towel racks and cabinets were not properly screwed on and constantly need to be fixed and the dryer provided by the apartment has either been so hot that we could hardly dry clothes with out them shrinking or not hot enough to where we had to dry our clothes two or three times. Also, the guest bathroom outlets did not work in either bathroom. There is constant up-keep on the grounds of the complex and it looks great however, they do it at very early times in the morning and tend to be very loud especially with the leaf blower so i'm incapable of leaving my windows open or i'll be woken up. Last but not least, it is a gated community. The gates are there for a reason, to keep people out. However, they leave the gates open until 4 o'clock every day. I understand they want people to come check out the apartments (cause most of them are empty) but that is what the intercom system is for outside the gate. If i wanted to live in a non-gated community I would.
