Don't waste your time.... this is NOT a gated community. We have had issues with dumb kids coming in and breaking into the pool area to do drugs one even broke a TPD officers leg in a fight. The new amenities have taken over a year and they still aren't done. The new gym is nice and it's quiet. The pools get a lot of sun. The bayside one isn't worth going too since it gets so crowded. It's great having a washer and dryer in the unit. But the appliances are old and don't work efficiently. The units are overpriced when you break it down and look at what you're getting. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. And I mean everything. I'm pretty sure there is a rat in the ceiling. The exit gate closes at 8pm, but really it closes at 7:45 It also doesn't work some mornings and cars get backed up and it will cause you to be late for work, plan on leaving your apt 20 minutes early to avoid that. The front gate has been broken for two years so this isn't really a gated community at all. random people can walk in at any time. At night there is a security guard who asks which apartment you were going to and that's it, which you can just make up a number. One of the security guys name is Anthony and he is very nice and helpful. But there is another younger one who falls asleep on the job. The sidewalks flood very bad. The cabinets and the doors are flimsy and break. The water that comes out of the sinks smells really bad. For the first eight months of us living there and our stack-able washer and dryer was awkwardly placed in our pantry and we couldn't move it because the hose was not long enough so we couldn't open one of the drawers in our kitchen (which wouldnt be an issue but we only had two drawers. The parking lot is ridiculous, they need to make permits or have assigned parking. every Time when I come home past 9 PM and there is never a parking spot near my apartment there have been many times where I have had to park five buildings away. The underneath part of The counters chip off and get everywhere. When we first moved in for a five month period They would warn you 12 hours before before they were going to turn off the water in your building. They do offer free fitness classes which is great. And the fact that there a lot a lot of cops that live there is wonderful. I've never felt unsafe. Don't count on maintenance for ANYTHING they are useless. The lock on my door broke causing none of my keys to work. I was locked out for four hours and they said "well we don't do lock outs and we can't prove you live there" as if I had locked myself out which I didn't. The lock on my door broke and even after I explained that I can show them my passport in the apt that matches my license . They took two hours to get there and were very rude and acted as if it was such a hassle to come help me when its their job they said they could come back and change the locks the next morning at 8 am before i left for work..the didn't come until 10. They are updating the units and charging more which is useless because you actually loose cabinet space. You'll sweat your butt off in the bedrooms because for some reason if you close the door it gets so Hot in there. Teens buy and sell drugs by the front pool. half of them don't even live in the complex

This is my second year living here and I will be moving out when my lease is up. PROS: The bayside pool and its view are incredible. I love living close to Downtown St. Pete, Downtown Tampa, & South Tampa. CONS: Rent is higher than what the apartment is worth, in my opinion. I am extremely disappointed with the office management team. They are dismissive of my concerns and very impolite. I feel unsafe living here after someone broke into an apartment near mine and vandalized the mail boxes. The walls are paper thin so it is pretty noisy. The trash compactor is always out of service or overflowing with trash- disgusting. The appliances are old and need replaced desperately. It served me well for my first apartment in Tampa but the problems are becoming more apparent and worrisome, so I am ready to move out ASAP.

I recently moved out of the cove after a year lease. First couple of months were great, but it quickly became apparent that I was living by a frat house and not in a quiet bay side community at all. The drunken parties were getting way out of hand for someone like me who has get up early in the morning to go teach middle school. I guess I am far too mature for these people. There was marijuana coming in through my bathroom vent and my kitchen vent and that is not a pleasant thing to fall asleep to or to come home to after a long day of work. I did tell the office... 4 times! And each time they simply put letters on the door basically saying "Drugs are bad kids! Don't do it!". The last 2 letters were "final warnings" and the smell never stopped. I have personally seen residents being arrested by the police here and another one of my neighbors got in such nasty drunken fights (pretty often too), that the cops would have to come out and break them up in the MIDDLE OF THE WEEKDAY DAMN NIGHT. And don't get me started on the dogs. People don't use leashes. I have seen residents open doors and let the dogs out and close the door and open it when the dog comes back up. And of course, this means, no poop pick ups. I've seen poop bigger than mine sitting on the grass for weeks. It's rather disturbing... actually, I'm almost concerned a person might have done it. Another time, the office actually used another person's check to pay my rent. I waited a week and nothing happened so I called them and told them and they were totally surprised. If I didn't say anything, I bet I could have gotten away with it. So sad. BTW, appliances are all outdated and no ceiling fans. Glad I moved out. Living happily in a house now and paying the same amount for rent.

Convienent location and a nice bay view. The rent is to high for what they offer. To many rules, as well.

This place is a night mare...one problem after another. The cabinets break, the water is always being shut off, the parking lot situation is a mess. They can not keep their tenants to follow their lease about their animals. This "gated" community is not gated, anyone can walk in and out as they please, even if they don't live here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME MOVING HERE!!!
