Poorly renovated. Units are inefficient and only renovated cosmetically so things are constantly falling apart and breaking down. Prices keep going up and the facilities don't warrant that increase. Concrete floors with paper-thin fake wood strips, or "hardwood look floors" according to the leasing office, are bumpy, warped and peeling since they were glued to the concrete. Your can get better quality at most $600 - $700 apartments, only redeeming attribute is the location. But is 5 minutes of driving is worth a few hundred dollars a month? Utility bills are outrageously high also. People here are nice but the price is ridiculous. Bottom line - DON'T MOVE IN THIS PLACE.

They claim they are in the process of remodeling and updating all units but this comes at great cost to the current residents. Construction projects begin at 7am without warning inside and outside my building. Twice I have had construction workers INSIDE my apartment without notice from the landlords only to get a "that was not an authorized entry" response from the staff when I complain. No action is taken. I too have had appliances replaced, two of which were brand new. The microwave broke within 6 months of living here. I contacted the landlords immediately and was told it would be replaced the next day. Four weeks and many frustrated phone calls later, this appliance was finally replaced. About a month later, my washing machine started leaking so I called for repairs. This appliance was replaced in 4 days, but I called twice a day until it was taken care of. The apartments are also EXTREMELY poorly insulated. I have brand new windows and a new remodel and my heating bill was over 100 a month this winter, FOR A 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT!!!!!! The apartment constantly feels drafty and when you ask the landlord about this, their response is simply that the building is 50 years old. Stating a fact is not addressing the issue. Point blank: These apartments are priced over market value and are not located in the best area. Utilities are sky high and the landlords are not upholding their end of the lease. If you walk around the complex, you will notice that many apartments are vacant (about half), not because they are under construction, but because nobody wants to live here. I only had one day to find an apartment when I stumbled upon this place. I should have invested more time, lesson learned. Listen from our experiences, stay away from this hole, and Trilogy across I-170. Its managed by the same group.

If I could rate them less than one star, I would. These people call themselves property managers, when they are the definition of slum-lords. Broken promises and misinformation at every step of the process. They promised that my windows would be replaced before I moved in. Don't fall for that lie as I did. I'm new to the state, and I didn't know that I needed an Ameren account, as my utilities were typically set up for me by the apartment building in my previous state. Instead of calling me or giving me a notice, they cut off my electricity, destroying about $300 in food. Nothing works in the apartment. The pipes freeze weekly, the washing machine has been replaced once already and I've only been there about four months. It needs to be replaced again. It worked great for exactly one load after the first replacement. They say they take credit cards for rent, and they do, for $25 a month. Wish I would have known that upfront. These people are liars, cheats, and thieves. Avoid at all costs. I'm debating about paying $2400 to break my lease.

We just moved in on Saturday and have found everyone who works here to be extremely helpful. We had a leaky toilet, but they responded to our call within an hour and had it fixed. Prior to the move in Carla was extremely receptive to our requests and had shelving placed in all our closets and fixed what we asked to be fixed. Our biggest complaint has been the doors. They are painted over, bent, and often do not close all the way. Our windows are getting replaced within 2 weeks with energy efficient ones, the old ones are very outdated and dirty. Noise has not been an issue and the property is constantly being improved and is well maintained.

PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THEIR "SHOW APT" FOOL YOU!! ALL OF THEIR NICE FURNISHING IN THAT APT DISTRACTS YOU FROM THE OVERALL THROWN TOGETHER LOOK. I LIVE IN A TWO BDRM EVERYTHING IN THE BATHROOM IS LEANING TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT, GROSS OLD POPCORN CEILINGS THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD FALL ON YOU ANY SECOND AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE WALLS ARE PAINTED IN THIS GOOPED UP PAINT MANNER. AND I LATER FOUND OUT WHEN I COULD STOMACH LOOKING AT THEM THAT THE WALLS HAD CRACKS AND WEIRD UNEVENNESS EVERY WHERE. THE PIPES UNDER THE BATHROOM AND KITCHEN WERE FED INTO THIS BIG GAPING HOLE. THE VENTS IN THE KITCHEN HAD BLACK BUILD-UP INSIDE OF IT. THERE ISNT ANY COUNTER SPACE. FOR THOSE RENT PRICES AS WELL AS THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY GAS AND ELECTRICITY IS APALLING...I HATE THIS PLACE IT MAKES ME ITCH AND I CANT SLEEP PROPERLY BECAUSE OF ITS PURE GROSSNESS. DONT MOVE HERE! THEY WILL BE RENOVATING IN A FEW YEARS DO IT THEN, AS LONG AS ITS NOT SHOTTY WORK. AND BEWARE OF THE HUGE MILLI-PEDES THAT THEY CAN'T CONTROL FOR SOME REASON. THEY SPRAY FOR THEM BUT THE MILLI-PEDES HAVE TO COME IN YOUR HOME IN ORDER FOR THEM DIE....SO THEY ARE DYING...ON YOUR BED...IN YOUR SHOES....TUB....CLOSETS....KITCHEN....AND THEY DONT ALWAYS DIE!!!! SO TELL THEM TO WORK A METHOD WHERE THEY JUST DONT COME IN!!! OR BETTER YET CLOSE UP ALL THE HOLES IN THAT PLACE AND I GURANTEE YOU WOULD PROBABLY ONLY SEE ONE A YEAR!!!!! IN A NUTSHELL THEY ARE GROSS AND THE WINDOW IN THE SHOWER IS DISGUSTING IT HAS REGULAR LIVING ROOM BLINDS IN THERE WITH WATER AND IT MILDEWS AND SMELLS AND GROWS MOLD!! BEWARE....BEWARE.....BEWARE!!!!!!!!! thank you and happy moving!
