I would be giving this place five stars if I had just moved in. But since I've been living here since June 2014 and there is still construction work being done (in fact, loud drill work being done right outside my window as I type this) I can't help but be severely disappointed. While the design is clean and modern, the walls are very thin (despite being sold as sound-proof) and there is dog poop everywhere. Not to mention that the location is terrible. There are no grocery stores for miles, and you have to get on the interstate to get anywhere. Also, the office staff is extremely friendly, but a little bit incompetent (my deposit wasn't cashed until eight months after I moved in and they are apparently unaware of the construction work). I get the feeling that in a couple of years this place will be great, but as for now, not worth it.

Love living here the amenities are awesome, i really find the dog wash convenient rather than battling in the bathroom with my dog, the dog parks are a nice place to take your dog and socialize with other dogs.My power bill hovers around $50-75 and i have a lot of electronics where other apartments of similar size i have been used to paying $150-200 a month. Pros: 1. Choice of Internet & Cable provider. Home Telecom offers fiber to the home, 500Mbs/100Mbs connection. Comcast and Uverse are your other providers 2. Gas Stove and instant hot water heater 3. Floors are nice and the natural lighting is excelent 4. Basico is a quick walk and has some really good food, The flower shop is great and the Mixson market is a nice place to stop and get milk or something to eat/drink rather than having to leave and go to a store. 5. Location is great, quick trip to park circle, tanger outlets, Boeing, and centrally located to most of the Charleston area. 6. Maintenance is extremely fast to fix any issues that arise and are very professional and fix it the first time. Cons: 1. Walls are thin, can hear my neighbors music, and downstairs dog barking often (Doesn't really bother me as its expected in a apartment complex, however i know it bothers some) 2. No vent for the stove, accidentally filled up my apartment with smoke a few times from cooking, just opened the window and turned fan on and let it clear out. 3. Parking lot gets HUGE pot holes, they are currently trying to remedy the problem. 4. Still in construction, lots of miscellaneous razor blades, nails etc are on the property from the construction workers. 5. Fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired, walls aren't square, doors don't shut right, paint on surfaces paint shouldn't be on, blinds aren't level, just general lack of quality expected from a "luxury apartment". Two Big reasons i have to knock it a star, while not really being any fault of the office staff and maintenance crew. There is dog shit just about everywhere, places you wouldn't even expect dog shit including even in the walkways of the buildings. Hard to even walk my dog to go potty without walking through a minefield of shit. It's sad that dog owners can't even pick up after their dog, but the Flat's can't seem to pick it up fast enough either which i can't really put that on them. This is a non-smoking property however you wouldn't know that. Many folks blatantly smoke in and around the buildings, majority of nights and weekends i can't even keep my windows open without my apartment smelling like smoke. Cigarette butts are all over the grounds. So if you were looking at the property as you will enjoy the non-smoking think again.

This a is a hidden gem! New community of young professional and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a safe and upcoming area. Most brand new and very affordable. I'm sure it will sell out soon.
