Unfortunately I still live in the glen. Okay so within the first week after moving in, the apartment flooded out and all my things I lost...luckily I had renters insurance with state farm. In the kitchen I have a problem with underneath the sink flooding everytime I was my dishes....the guy who came to fix it took a look at it and wen I say he took a LOOK I'm saying that's all he did...he came ...took a look and said 'oh I be right back I need some tools" and never returned. So for the past 2 years I been here the sink does the same thing and its because the pipe is not long enuf so as u put on the water the pipes underneath separate and the water goes everywhere. I also had problems with my air condition in which once again a maintenance worker came and RIGGED the air condition unit outside and left it as is...so my entire upstairs does not cool off at all becuz of course the air condition unit aint working...duhhhh....stop rigging the shyt and replace the old piece of crap that makes so much noise I cant damn sleep at night. Oh and the worker came inside and took my air condition filter out and never put another one in...sooo yeah...im just saying it just might need a filter sometime THIS YEAR dammit! but anyway. Here's the big thing...my upstairs bathtub is completely separating from the damn wall and each time we use to much shower it leaks...so downstairs in my living room if u look up at the ceiling u can actually see the outline of my tub...just wondering when the tub gonna come thru the damn floor though...and ok yes the maintenance worker came and LOOKED once again and had the nerve to say "I DONT SEE NOTHING WRONG" !!!! NO HE DIDNT GO THERE! is he damn blind or something!!!?????????? theres tiny water holes in my damn ceiling and u cant see it though...really???? ok going up the stairs theres also a water stain starting all the way up in the ceiling...oh mind u also when I first moved here my bathroom upstairs, the ceiling leaked everytime it rains....there's not enuf pots in this world to put all over my apartment to catch the damn water coming out the walls and ceilings....and yes then theres the damn mildew that's killing us.....so yea im definitely going to find some place else to live when my lease is up because this is just darn right ridiculous. I agree with the person who says that this place needs to be tore down...and yes yes yes the overflow of shyt that comes out the ground outside is just plain disgusting and it NEVER gets fixed!

I have lived at the Glen for two years now UNFORTUNATELY. In the 1ST year that I lived here, within a few months, a home invasion occurred next door. Four gunmen, people with loaded weapons, had kicked in my neighbors door and forced them at gun point in their living room and proceeded to steal every electronic device in their home. This was on Wilmington News Channel so look it up if you don't believe it. Other than that, I live in a 1 bedroom townhouse where the 2nd floor as the WORST flooring I have EVER seen and I work in Construction and Renovation. Even the MODEL house where no one lives in, has horrible flooring, in that EVER STEP you take WILL crack. In closing, I also have been victim of burglary and I am stuck her because of my lease. I HIGHLY would NOT suggests these apartments to ANYONE.

I took the time to join Google plus just to write the review. The management seems friendly but do not be fooled. I have experienced problems with the plumbing, and my air conditioner breaks every two weeks.Only two of the five maintenance men have responded to my complaints in a satisfactory manner. It takes weeks to get any repair other than an air conditioner fixed. My ac breaks every few weeks. The paint is super cheap and they would not repaint. They charge you unnecessarily upon move out as well.I have never paid my rent late and I did not appreciate waiting so long for basic repairs. The showers look like crap regardless of how hard u scrub them. They really need to remodel. The good thing is its the cheapest place to live in town for the lowest price around. If you can live with the poor maintenance give it a try. I am not talking down on the maintenance crew but they need additional workers or something. If the glen would remodel and hire more maintenance men, they would have the best value in town. Very spacious

Made an account just to warn people. This is the fourth month in a row that raw sewage has been overflowing the pipes into the front yard area between some of the apartments. We've contacted the office multiple times and eventually the send someone to pipe the drain but it only makes it worse the next time it backs up. This month, January 2014 (happy new year;) it has started to flood the units in this building and the tenants got to great the new year with sewage in their downstairs and according to the plumber there is no plan to find and repair the problem. They said they'd get around to sending a carpet steamer though so i guess we've got that going for us.

At first they seemed like a decent, professional establishment however within weeks that was disproven. Our dishwasher was broken upon moving in and it took them three months to even come out and look at it. The entire lower floor was filled with mildew yet they would neither acknowledge it nor do anything about it. They also deliberately ran up our balance by failing to tell us that we had mistakenly wrote our first months rent for a dollar short and told us that our balance was caught up until the end of the year long lease at which point they told us about it and stacked on five hundred dollars worth of late fees. The staff was condescending and uncooperative. I extremely discourage ANYBODY from renting with these people
