But seriously, don't live here. The staff is awful. They lost my rent once and made me repay it. The walls are paper thin. Our apartment was shot at random from the parking lot during a robbery in February 2013 and it took them forever to repair the gunshot damage, and some of the ricochet damage was never fixed at all. When we moved out in July, we were charged for the damage. You can get a lot more space for the price they charge as well.

This apartment complex is run by people who are literally only there for a paycheck. The head manager is a complete prick, the only way to get a point clear to him that you mean business is by threatening with a lawyer. Also, they send their crews at their convenience. I went WITHOUT HOT WATER FOR A WEEK, when a cold front was here. Thats a bit of an emergency to me. THERE WERE BREAK-INS IN OUR BUILDING (6) THAT THE OUTPOST FAILED TO LET ANY RESIDENTS KNOW ABOUT. I only found out because of riding the same bus with the girl and there were only four or five of us on that tram. The landscaping crew could break your glass sliding door like mine, and they wont inform anyone about it. I know that tid-bit because I watched it happen. They said it'd be 10 days to get it fixed because they had to order a door. IT TOOK THEM 7 WEEKS TO FIX IT. "Out of sight, out of mind" should be their motto, They have towed my car. Yes, I do and did, have a parking permit. The y failed to inform me after leaving for work in the early morning hours of the move-out day of spring 2013, that "residents" from the third floor broken my bedroom window, from throwing a door over the rail. My A/C was let on, and I had a wimpy piece of plywood only screwed on the outside of the window. I could pull it off myself. took the two and a half- three weeks to fix that. Also to add with roommate matching, one of my roommates had an abusive boyfriend where abuse was taking place in our household. The outpost denied my request to be let go from my lease, even though I specifically said I don't feel safe. Please, If your'e looking at the outpost, turn away. Run away, run very far far away. The management, the staff, the BS. ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. It takes away from your ability to focus on school, and even relax. Just, don't. Don't sign at the outpost they also raise rent without telling you., They did it to us. LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES.

The Outpost caused me quite a deal of pain. Roommates removed, I think The Outpost is alright. Cheap and pretty clean with generally a fast maintenance policy. Noise is an issue and the walls are paper-thin. Here's where my problem and ultimate disassociation with The Outpost started. Roommate matching was literally equivalent to oil and water... I lived with someone I knew and two Horrible, vile roommates. Eventually the roommates threatened me and were taking my belongings. I was horrified even more when management did nothing more but offer me their sorrow that it wasn't working. Leasing is absolutely non-negotiable, making you 100% responsible for more than your share. I was disgusted that management was so, solely concerned on cash rather than their lease owners safety. Words cannot describe how little they helped and cared. Luckily I was able to sub-lease! Even sub-leasing was an ordeal and the office staff was completely inadequate. Please be aware that roommate matching means nothing more to management than filling spaces and getting money. If you are considering roommate matching, you have been warned.

Lived there for a year! Maintenance was creepy at times and we had ant problems but the greenbelt behind gave a nice view!
