The apartments themselves are nice, except for the roof leaking. My husband and I moved in about 2 months ago, and once we FINALLY got someone to draw up our lease (that took a month), everything was great... Until about 3 weeks ago (it's November 28th). Turns out the building they moved us into had a major roof leak. They FINALLY got the roof fixed about 2 weeks ago, but the room that flooded is still wet and moldy. The only thing that has been done to attempt to dry it out is to rip up the carpet. Nothing has been done to fix the water damage on the ceiling or walls, nothing has been done to kill the mold, NOTHING! I have been paying for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment that I can't use half of! If you don't mind having to CONSTANTLY bug the office about problems til it gets fixed, then this is a great place. Just be warned, the office rarely answers the phone, they never call back, and never keep up on problems.

My Husband and I moved in about a month and half ago. We absolutely love it here. I am very surprised to the bad comments on here the apartment complex is clean and Ida and Kim have been great and gone above and beyond for us when we needed to switch our apartment to a lower level they made sure we were still able to move in on time. KUDOS to the staff at Privada.

If you love roaches, then you won't mind living here. Horrible management, horrible maintenance. Un-kept, old apartments with a musty scent. The entire time I've live here they have never conducted a pest control treatment. They never answer the darn telephone, either!! It' beyond annoying; it's unprofessionalism at its best in Albuquerque. I have to leave work early to be able to talk to the incompetent management who don't care about anybody's concerns, maintenance issues, or your well-being. The gated community is a joke; my car was burglarized and security is nowhere in sight or site. My apartment back door security latch has been broken since I moved in and never got fixed. I had to engineer my own locking device...pretty pathetic, huh. They can paint all the units and try and make them look pretty, but don't be fooled. These apartments are by far the worst, most unprofessional, most ghetto, most unsanitary place I've ever lived in. I am not renewing my lease and DON'T RENT HERE PLEASE LISTEN TO THE COMMENTS AND TO THE VILLAS AT LA PRIVADA MANAGEMENT...I HOPE YOU READ OUR COMMENTS. FIX THE ISSUES OR QUIT MANANGING APARTMENTS!!!!!

The upgraded units are awesome, but moving in was a nightmare. If you wish to move into this complex, DO NOT WORK WITH NICOLE. Because of her, every tenant attempting to move in reported her misinformation and were very upset about it. Nicole is sweet, but very unprofessional and has a very difficult time keeping her word and seems to lie her way through every fault she makes. Cassandra and Kim are the only reasons I decided to stay. Every time I went in to talk to the staff, there was always someone very angry at Nicole's incompetence. A move in date was set for me and my family only to be informed the date of move in, it could not be done because NICOLE did not listen to my request. A wrong unit was reserved and I was not told about it promptly. I decided to give it another shot and that ended up being a huge mistake. Again, Nicole gave me a move in date, but the unit wasn't even a little close to being completed. It took THREE mistakes from her to get my unit only because Kim and Cassandra made it possible. My sister and her family were seeking to move into these apartments, only to find (2 Days before move in) NICOLE had given their reserved unit to someone else. DO NOT WORK WITH NICOLE!!!

Horrible residency! No one in the office ever answers the phone when you call and call and call. Then when you go in the office, they are all sitting there not doing a thing. Asking for them to fix problems in the apartment is literally pulling an arm and a leg after constantly letting them know. Yet they say "I'll put a service request in". They are too dialed in on remodeling their appearance but don't do a single thing to help residents with issues! One associate says one thing and another associate says a different thing when you ask questions. Horrible residency. I don't recommend this Apartment complex to anyone. Referred someone to live here recently and they had issues in their apartment that has not been tended to after multiple requests (dryer doesn't work, sink)!!! Go anywhere but here. It's all looks, no real quality.
