This place is awesome! Okay the chicken and waffles is a must try at least one time. Everything is excellent and the portions guarantee some leftovers for lunch the next day. Even the kids love the place and like everything they have had. You can't go wrong here!

As featured on a famous TV show, this place is the one stop I take all my visitors. Selection is not the largest around, but the serving sizes are nothing like the others. You WILL get full, so full, that you should take half of it as takeout and enjoy it at dinner. Servers are great and energetic and their bloody marys are amazing. Meals are in the expensive side, but like I said, you get lots of food so it makes up for it. Small place, so you will have to wait for a while to get a table, but it's worth it. Recommend getting the hashes or farmer's scramble.

I rarely write reviews of places away from home, but this may be my favorite breakfast place on the planet. We're actually discussing another trip to San Diego just to eat here again. Seriously, can we have one of these in San Francisco? I knew nothing about this place when we stepped in, and ordered an ice coffee and French toast, expecting my usual watered down coffee and two pieces of bread to arrive with maybe a little garnish on the side if I'm lucky. 10 minutes later a plate that looked like a volcano piled on it was placed before me. It was unlike any French toast I've ever had. Dare I say breathtaking, maybe because I couldn't breathe while shoveling down the mountain of French toast. I was in heaven. I can even rave about the iced coffee. It was top notch. And being a hot day, I downed the first glass and while contemplating a second, there was already a new glassful in front of me as soon as I turned around. Now that's service. Yeah it's a ton of food, but after breakfast I cruised right through lunchtime and still wasn't even hungry by the time dinner rolled around (and time to get on the airplane to head back home).

Another one of my absolute favorite brunch spots in San Diego the Hash House is a must try! Huge portions of amazing food will keep you coming back. The pancakes, rosemary chicken or eggs benedict or all awesome. The Bloody Mary's aren't bad either. The only drawback would be the wait so come early or be prepared to wait.

We went last weekend to San Diego. My Mother was not too happy with me and my sister at the time. When she saw the food come out at the other tables......Let's just say, her frown turned into a SMILE. She was VERY PLEASED with her food, like I knew she would. We LOVE this place, every time we are in Vegas, this is where we EAT!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!!
