What I love about Monaco Apartments (formerly Murry Ridge) is they really care about your personal development. They hope that by the time you leave them you’ll be better than when you arrived. For instance, our dishwasher broke. So we went to the office and filled out a maintenance request. Two weeks went by and nothing had been fixed so we went back again and got a bit upset, because we were terrible people. So they said they would have someone come and fix it. The next day we came home to a note that maintenance had been by and the dishwasher was repaired! Hurray! So we ran a load and wouldn’t you know it, when it was done the bottom of the dishwasher was filled with scummy water and now our sink was leaking… So we requested them to come in and fix it again, and I guess they just couldn’t be bothered. So, we started to develop patience, aren’t they wonderful for helping us do that. Plus washing dishes by hand builds character. A few months later, in January, our kitchen window was broken. This was a real problem because it was very snowy and cold outside, and our apartment was on the first floor so someone could have just crawled through the window and stolen our belongings. We immediately informed the office and impressed upon them the urgency of getting the window fixed. But I guess we still hadn’t quite learned enough about patience, and maybe they figured we could do with a bit of humility too. So they helped us learn to live without the luxury of a heated apartment. After about 2 weeks we finally learned to not be so naggy, and then they came to fix our broken window. It’s so great that we were learning all these important life lessons. But I think what really sets them apart is how much they want to give their tenants a nice place to live. I’m sure the tenant who rented after us is going to really love the new paint in the apartment. Even though my wife and I didn’t put anything on the walls and did no damage at all, Monaco must have really wanted to make sure the walls looked great, because they charged us to paint them…. twice. Yep, coming in and “painting” perfectly unblemished walls once wasn’t good enough for them, they did it twice, and charged us twice. We shouldn’t be so greedy and attached to our money anyways, right? There are just so many other great stories like this that I wish I had time to share with you; like how there isn’t just dog crap all over the grass, it’s in the stairwells too. Or how you can never take out your garbage because all the dumpsters are full to overflowing. Or the time the old, topless, screaming, drunk lady broke into my apartment in the middle of the night and collapsed on my couch, so I had to call the police and ambulance to come and remover her. All I can say is that our time living in the Monaco Apartments will always hold a special place in our hearts.

During our 3yrs.of residentcy. We've really appreciated they're kind &curtoius management.repairs are done promptly& rent is reasonable. THERES ONLY 1) ISSUE ABOUT THIS PLACE, ITS A : "utility bill" that's additional to rent, power & gas that is also the responsibility of tenants. Average cost $70mth includes (water, sewer, garbage,&unified police.) If unit has w/d's additional $50- 75 month. Plus additional $15parking. Rent is $150bucks more than told at move in. It's a big issue "read small print & ask questions prior to signing a year lease.

This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. YOUR SAFETY IS AT RISK LIVING HERE. I've heard gunshots while living in the area, drug dealers have approached me while just trying to go home. Someone set a car on fire as some sort of retaliation. The smoke detectors didn't work in our apartment which, nearly killed my roommate when a fire broke out. This is minor in comparison but, they will bleed every last penny they can out of you. Rent had changed several times while we lived there. going from $750 to $850 to $900. These changes happened under the guise of random fees and being "half an hour" late for running in rent. The employees have absolutely no heart and will try and gut you after your contact expires. We owe "$600" dollars for absolutely nothing. "We need to wash your carpet, paint your walls... ect.." This is absolute garbage, the apartment was falling apart when we moved in and this is there last ditch ever to bleed every penny out of us. Hell does exist, and it exists her on earth... Don't even consider moving into Murray Ridge.

Cockroaches everywhere when we first walked in, they won't do anything about it. They say they will just spray, and by Utah law that is legal because they SAY they are taking care of the problem. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Steer clear, these guys will find any reason to charge you extra, for example they don't have a drop box, they only have 2 days after the 1st to pay your rent, if you don't it's a ridiculous $150 late fee. Managements is extremely rude and unprofessional, they're just there to find ways to charge you extra and tell you too bad you have to pay, no common decency. If you want to cancel the contract you have to pay 4 month ahead, no I am not joking, it's that bad, I've had about 8 different apartments I've lived at in the last 5 years and these were by far the worst, I only wish I could give it 0 stars as they do not deserve a single star.
