The maintenance people here are great. The ladies that work in the office are bitches(except Milly she is really nice)and it's clear they don't care about anything but ripping people off. Don't waste your time complaining about your noisy neighbors who leave trash everywhere because they won't do anything. The walls are paper thin and they don't maintain these apartments at all. Make sure you remember to put in a 60 day notice to vacate because they'll stick the notice in your door late and then make you pay for extra rent so that you meet your 60 days in advance requirement and the price will be way above what the piece of shit apartment is worth. Oh yeah, let's not forget the building next door burned down and we couldnt stay in our apartment for a few days. They didn't offer us anything(we stayed at a hotel) still paid our rent in full and on time like we always do. So if you want to live in the ghetto with hood rats that party outside every night, don't mind bugs and goose shit everywhere and like getting ripped off. This place is perfect for you!

I would also give negative stars if I could. My husband and I moved into our apartment 2bd 2 ba on November 15th, 2013. Two weeks later on December 4th, 2013, our apartment burned down because of the people below us. The fire report stated that a cigarette (in a non smoking building) was the origin of the fire. We lost everything in our first apartment together. We were in 539 apartment 301, we are also on ABC11 news. After the fire, which happened at around 2 am, and in which time NONE of the alarms sounded to warn anyone...the staff did not greet us, or apologize, or offer to help...it was our apartment and the people who started it's apartments that were completely gone. The first thing any staff member said to us was would you like to sign another lease while we were getting help from the Red Cross. Worst experience of my life...keys didn't work 80% of the time, loud in our building, kitchen very small, and stove didn't work. Not to mention losing everything to sloppy people below us. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

My wife, 2.5 month-old-son and I moved into a 2br 1ba apartment in November 2011. We got on well with the staff and maintenance was usually fairly prompt in addressing issues; we'd had a leak in our ceiling caused by rainwater backing up into a dryer vent above us and that was resolved quickly. An incident of arson in the apartment below ours forced us into an extended stay hotel. Fortunately we had renter's insurance (which I believe the management requires of all tenants now) but more than that we had the support of the office staff. They were incredible during the entire ordeal. To say the whole affair was stressful is an understatement - I mean, my wife and I were homeless for a time with our then nine-month-old son. We were able to move into another apartment (2br, 2ba with a larger living room) and the office staff went to great lengths to be accommodating in every aspect of this transition. Sometimes there's loud music, sometimes you’ll hear a shouting match between spouses – but you’re living in an apartment complex, there are other human beings living in close proximity to you. That’s the nature of it. That said – the only time you can really hear your neighbors is if you stand in the hallway – once you close your door, it’s pretty darn quiet. There are geese everywhere, it’s true, and their poop is annoying but, hey, there’s a pond here – and what are we going to do, shoot all the geese? They mostly poop in the grass anyway – c’est la vie. The office staff has had a mild rate of turnover but I’ve managed to gain a friendly rapport with all of them. The maintenance crew has remained fairly stable since 2011 – all good guys, responsive, especially if you’re inclined to friendliness. The rate of turnover in tenancy is fairly high as well – most of our neighbors are military families or single soldiers and U-Haul’s are a common sight. My wife and I are both educators so we’re a bit more permanent. We recently renewed our lease for another year.

I agree with the last post about management. I'm have had nothing but problems with them since the first day of moving in. They sound amazing when they show you the place and you start the paperwork but they day i show up with my uhaul they hit me with some random fees that they never told us about before. We had no choice but to pay the fees since all of our stuff was already in NC. After that our problems continued with them. My wife and i decided that we were finished with dealing with them so we were going to use the military clause to get out of our lease with my ets orders and move back home. We sent them a notice over 30 days out saying that we were gong to move with our orders and we were told by management that we would get a notice telling us what the last months rent would be. the first came around and still no notice of what the rent was going to be so i sent another notice with my orders asking how much we owe for our last month. a couple of days later i get two notice from them saying we owe our full months rent+ late fees and we had two days to pay it or we will be getting and eviction notice and that our move out day is 10 days later than what we stated in the notice and we owed 4 days more rent for that add. month we went into. So in other words they lost my org notice and want us to give them even more money. This apartment has aweosme floor plans and have a lot to do but management and the other people that work in the office are horable.

These people arent worth the click of one star. If I could give negative starts I would. We were paying some expenses for a friend of ours who had recently made some challenging life decisions. They had worked hard to stay on top of things and we were helping out. So I called the office and told them that I was going overnight a check with the late fee so that everything would be taken care of and they said that was fine. So I overnight the check. And then suprise surprise, what comes back in the mail, but my check, and a note, written on the envelope I sent it on no less, not even company letter head that says they dont accept checks after the 5th. WHAT? So I call and they tell me some more crap about checks, all of which is rediculous. I was SO MAD at the miscommunication which has causes a LOT of stress for all involved. The office management team should be suspended and or fired for unprofessional behavior. Do not do business with them.
