Many people are very dissatisfied living in Village Green in Rochester. The first thing is the rent continues to get higher every year. Second, the parking is bad, if you go not get home early from work, there is nowhere to park. Lastly, they do not take care of their maintenance problems. I had a major leak in my apartment, they came out and put a blowers in the living room, two weeks later I had to call them to come back and pick up their blower, they had forgotten to pick it up. Weeks later a Manager called to see if I was satisfied with the repairs, I told her that nothing had been done, the leak was clearly coming from inside of the drywall, all they did was put the carpet down without looking for the leak. I moved out of the complex in October of this year, when the mover moved the boxes that I had packed for moving, they found mold all over the area where the leak were, needless to say there were many things of mine that was damaged, they have been giving me nothing but a hard time. I have contacted corporate office as well, and no one seems to care, I was told not to call anymore, that they were not going to talk to me. They moved someone else right into the apartment, without taking care of the mold problem; this shows that they are only concerned about profits, not the customers. I would say, this is not very Good Customer Satisfaction

My relative wants to rent a one bedroom apartment with her daughter, they told us they only have a two bedroom ($1500+) available at that time, and there is one bedroom available within a month. My friend can move into the two bedroom first and then break the lease with $400 penalty, then she will get the one bedroom apartment when the one bedroom available by about a month. Everything sounds perfect and she's willing to pay the penalty. So my relative signed the application with $60 background checking fee + additional $150 deposit. Next Monday, they told my relative she has to live in the two bedroom apartments for at least 3 months to get the one bedroom apartment. My relative rejected that proposal, they refunded that $150 and refused to return the $60 background checking fee (because they've already done with the background check). Next day, I called the manager, she said her employee would never say anything like that, blah, blah, sounds like she was just there and observed everything her employee said. I didn't have a recorder, I cannot replay what the employee said, but I have my right to write down what I think is right and wrong in review. If they told us at the beginning, my relative shouldn't even try to apply. If employee made a mistake, the manager should stand out to correct the mistake, and instead the manager tries to cover up what the employee's mistake and won't even dare to refund $60!!! What a rip-off.

I have lived here for less then a year. My experience has not been a good one. During a storm one of my windows in my living room started to leak. It was more like a waterfall into my living room. My TV, home entertainment system, and other electronics were soaked. When I called the emergency repair phone line I was hung up on twice. Eventually I was told someone can get out to my apartment in the next few hours. The problem was eventually fixed a few days later. No call from the office. My latest adventure has been trying to find a parking spot. 2-3 times a week I have to park 4-5 buildings down from mine. Not a huge deal I guess. Last night, There was no parking spaces available anywhere on my side of the apartment complex. I had to park along a curb. I end up getting a parking ticket. I call the office the next morning and ask where should I park? There solution, pay $25 extra per month for a car port. I already pay $1230/month with no assigned parking. Her other solution was park by the club house as there is always parking available. Unreal. I would not recommend living here.

I lived at the Rochester location from 2007 to 2009. I absolutely loved the complex, and the staff as well. The units are nicely situated behind downtown Rochester, with direct access to the Paint Creek Trail, so if you're a cyclist like myself, you'll be in heaven. The buildings themselves are part brick, part siding which makes for an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The pool is great in the summertime, as well as the property grounds which include grills and seating (tons of people host parties in the summer). The individual units are what you'd expect from a large corporate complex such as this. White appliances, popcorn walls (due to years of continuous painting) and carpeting throughout. I lived in a 1 bed 1.5 bath w/ den. I had a wood burning fireplace with a cheap marble slab below it, it was quite nice in the winter. What I loved about my unit was the space. The ceilings were amazing, I'm not sure what height exactly, but it felt incredibly open and airy. I also had no one above me since I lived in one of the 'townhomes," so I never heard anyone. I would suggest getting into one of these units, they include attached garages. I would recommend this complex to anyone considering temporary housing in Rochester. They do pull the bait and switch on you with rent.. as with all apartment complexes. The first year I paid 965, then they bumped me to 1080.. and I'm sure they would have continued to increase my rate had I not moved. For what it is, I give it five stars.
