I made a second appointment at Vintage, this time with the Manager Sidney, since I still had some questions to clarify. Of course she didn't show up so I was stuck again with Miss Personality, Denise. After slipping me a piece of paper showing me that they had raised the prices, she again just sat there staring at me like she was in a coma. She never smiled, and when she did speak it was like she was reading from a training manual. Sidney said she would show me where the unit was, but that never happened with Denise. All she wanted was the money for the screening and the deposit sight unseen. I was willing to live in that neighborhood of Everett if the price was right, but having also to deal with her is just too much to ask. When I left I said "Thank you for your time". She never even lifted her head or her eyes up from the papers on her desk, and never said a word as I walked out. Enjoy your visit to Vintage everybody!

I just want to warn anyone 55+ that this complex is offering false advertising. No where on their web site, Craigslist, nor their handouts is it stated that one must be disabled if one is under 62. I was interviewed, showed the premises, and offered a deposit and application fee. I passed the initial screening. I found out 2 weeks later while signing additional paperwork that I did not qualify. I am not disabled. This company kept my application fee, and returned my deposit. Since I was led to believe that I had an apartment there, I placed in a hardship situation. I had already give my notice to my current landlord, and stopped looking for a place. I was shocked to find out I was not allowed to rent there.
