Honestly, try to find a different place to live. I could go on and on. We moved in for a short lease with a pet and didn't have many other options. To begin, the apartment wasn't clean when we moved in and specifically the oven was a disaster. It then took management and the cleaning company over a week to correct the situation, including us being 'no-showed' by the cleaners multiple times. After it was cleaned the gas was never turned on, getting that done took some time as well but when it was pilot light was never lit, therefore spewing gas into our apartment for an entire day before we returned to notice the issue. There are 2 burners that still don't work. Their maintenance of the grounds is embarrassing, including huge potholes, no one picking up pet waste, and complete disregard for this country's flag (the flag has never been lit up at night as it should be and my veteran boyfriend took it upon himself to lower the flag to half mast on Memorial Day, without any tanks from management after they were aware). The water temperature is fickle, the bathroom in awful condition (we cleaned the sink drain of what seemed to be a decade old disgusting muck), it always smells regardless of windows open or febreeze sprayed. It's just generally not very welcoming and the management is less than helpful or concerned. Also of note, I've noticed situations that look like a few cars have been broken into, but can't positively confirm that.

If you've got a boatload of money, this place is for you. I say this because when you are locked into a lease, that money that you thought you could keep they demand you to fork over. The water bill goes up without reason to nearly 2 times the price, the printer broke, and there's a broken chair in the clubhouse, it's just a circus of a place. Had a noisy-as-h*** neighbor who insisted that I stay awake from the hours of 10 pm to 2 am by talking or blaring her music. Steer clear. I'd rather live in the back of a box van than renew my lease. And I count myself lucky, because unlike the sorry folks who signed up for 1 year, I've only got the 6 month contract.

My Daughter lived there for an year, while in school. When her lease expiring, she visited office almost 8-9 times to inform that she is vacating on certain day. Now no one told her you can send email. they said you have to write in paper and give it. This is 21st century and USA. We all have Smart Phones. She could have write email easily. Then she realize 1st day of month and went to office early morning as soon as they open. Now she is 8 hours late so she has to pay whole extra month rent. Seems like these corporation policy and making money wo understanding whole situation. Do not recommend anyone to stay there in future. And when you are in school you do not have extra whole month rent. Office staff so rude. One person keeps files in her office, no other office staff can access that. you have to keep calling and pray that that person is in office so you don't have to call or go again. I make sure all my friends and family stay away from BH management for future.

I lived here for a year and a half and it was pretty good. The office made me mad a few times but all in all not so bad. Most of them are pretty nice. Especially the maintenance staff! If you ask them personally for help its much quicker than being on that long maintenance list. It can take a few phone calls to get things done but for example I got a brand new garbage disposal when mine quit. Plus I when I moved out I cleaned my apartment so it sparkled and I received my entire deposit back. That's awesome.

I have had problems with BH Management since the day I moved in. They simply do not follow there lease agreement, I don't even think they know what it says or care what it says. The on site staff are unhelpful, they provide a resident hot line that is unstaffed. The lease is over complicated and deceptive in its nature, the setup seems be so that they can hit you with hidden fees, and even claim ones you have paid are not paid, according to my last 'notice' from them. I would stay well away from any apartment BH Management runs. I am vary much considering breaking my lease, of course legally they shouldn't be able to fine me for doing it as they have already broken there side of the lease multiple times, but Im sure they will try.
