Location is great, but parking at $45 is insane! I would have parked a couple blocks up to save my company a couple bucks, but there was something going on at the convention center and people where everywhere and my chances that I'd find a open lot near my was slim to none. I didn't chance it. I did get to walk around to all the near by shops and restaurants because it is dead center of the gaslamp quarter. I stayed in the Lofts and it was very noisy. I was traveling from the east coast that day, so I went to bed at 7pm and it was noisy, so ear plugs are needed, but I wear them often so I didn't mind. Breakfast was great and service was nothing but perfect. I recommend it for any kind of traveler, but just watch out for parking.

My room was explained as a new room well maintained. Guess what! I Find short curlies in the tub with light fixtures falling out! I swear the worst Hilton on this earth and I am stuck here for 3 days! I was looking for a home for 200+ days this yearr sadly I cross another off my list year this year!!

Nice rooms. 3 star because the hotel charges so much for amenities. Internet and breakfast are not free and parking is 42$ a day.

This review is for the pool area, which I had access to while getting a spa service at the Artesia salon. Needs an overhaul. No ambiance and no pool bar. The Hilton Bayfront has a gorgeous pool area, so if that's something you're looking for in a downtown SD hotel stay, I recommend it! Get it together, Hilton Gaslamp!

The Jacuzzi was closed down due to a leak. NO JACUZZI!!! I was VERY disappointed NO ONE TOLD ME and all ads and even the Hilton room book said there is one. They need to update their material.
