Terrible experience with the management team. We have lived at apartment complexes for years and we understand the move out and cleaning procedures. This is the first time that we have left it "unsatisfactory" and we were charged more than half of our deposit. Like other reviews say, the carpet and appliances were clearly used but they expected it to be new upon lease termination. The office claims it closes 6pm but when I arrived to pick up my package at 550, the door was locked and they said they were closed. I tried again the next day after work and decided to wait there with another tenant until someone came to the door. She finally did at 6pm after making us wait and said she was closed and had been closed. When I showed her my watch her only response was, "my clock must be wrong." The oven/range was old and two burners did not work. It took them two weeks to come out and even then after one day, it was broken again. The old appliance had burners that had old loose connections so we basically had to use the two small burners the entire time we stayed there. Toilet was constantly dripping and refilling. The maintenance guy spent 2 hours working and cursing up a storm because he did not realized that we had come home. The management staff is a large part of the apartment experience. Read the other reviews. Positives: Location was nice and the rent was very fair.

Horrible place to live. Just moved out of this horrendous apartment. Somethings are to note( such as no bugs and somewhat good maintenance) but I was charged for things that had not happen at all! They charged me for 5 blinds that were not broken by any means. And when you move out, make sure you clean your places. I got charged $10 for 3 strips of hairline dust on my toilet, a work that can be cleaned from using a piece of paper towel. And apparently, this was a discounted rate. This place do not trust their customers in what they are saying and trusts their staff. I went to argue about this fix and they gave me an invoice as their evidence, it was ridiculous for what kind of proof this is. This place has ridiculous price rating for fixing their stuff! Consider yourself warned!!!

Summary: I was all ready to write a positive review because there are many good things about this place (maintenance is great and always fixes things quickly, apartment is very spacious and we never had any problems with bugs or anything), but the office really made a stressful experience WAY worse by going out of their way to screw us over. My family lived here for 3 years and had no complaints until the new management took over, there was a big change in how the apartment was run after that with ridiculous things like monthly patio inspections, or nobody returning emails, or all the new office staff (apart from one person) being rude and unhelpful. Details: When we moved we had to break our lease because we were being involuntarily transferred out of state for work - we got no sympathy from the office who charged us over $2000 to break the lease, despite the fact that I know that they re-leased the apartment immediately (the new tenants were in the office while I was picking up a package) but they still charged us a "reletting fee" as well as proceeding to nickel and dime us for EVERY POSSIBLE THING they could charge us for. (for example cleaning toilets and bathtubs that I spend time scrubbing, they charged us for "carpet cleaning" when the carpet had been replaced 2 weeks before, among 5 many other crap charges). I was prepared to pay for two things: countertop resurfacing and oven cleaning, because those were two things I couldn't do (I'm pregnant and can't be around oven cleaner fumes), however they even are trying to screw us on that and said that they might have to REPLACE THE OVEN if they couldn't get it clean - which is so ridiculous I can't even begin to explain, the oven is like 5 years old tops and was only used for normal cooking! It's not like I made a volcano in the oven!!! When I called to discuss the charges over the phone they were rude and unapologetic as always. Basically if you choose to live here my advice would be to itemize every single things that might not be perfect when you move in and take pictures, because they will try to charge for anything and everything they can along the way.

I have been living here for almost one year and I can tell you that it has gone under new management. They have upgraded 90% of the apartments at this point and some of the higher end ones have really nice finishings. We chose one of the "older" upgrades without the high end finishes and still found it to be much nicer than those in the surrounding areas for the similar pricing. We love our view of the creek and we love our apartment. Maintenance requests are taken care of within 24 hours 95% of the the time and I have never had a problem with any kind of infestation. The only complaint we have is that it can be difficult to find parking at times if we arrive home late into the evening. We are having a baby in February and our lease is up in April. We are in a one bedroom right now and we are afraid we won't have enough space here, but we love it so much we are sad to think of looking for a new place.
