So far I've only lived here a month so idk what it will be like long-term, just thought I should say that first. When I did the walk through a lot of things were broken, the ac, refrigerator ect. However when I alerted the staff in person and through the online maintenance request, everything was taken care of quickly. I love how roomy it is, the neighbors are friendly, it's close to Hardberger park, schools, HEB, Ross and just about every store you could want is less than a mile away. I like that if my printer or computer breaks I can use their business center to get online, fax or print things. found out the fitness center is 24 hours and so are the laundry rooms, for a night owl like me that's awesome. the apartments are nice and roomy, especially if you have the vaulted ceilings but the best thing about this place is definitely the location, you can't beat it! Maybe it's because I previously lived in a kind of run down apartment for years but I think it's great.

My experience at that apartment was very poor and disappointing. I lived there for over 13months. They make their office and the building it look nice on the outside, but very dirty and untidy on the inside. The staff are very rude and arrogant. If there is a problem, they don't come out to fix it in time, I have to call them for weeks. Too much mold build up within a short period of time and keeps going up. They are very greedy and money hungry. They will try to rip you off your security deposit as much as they can and tell you about hidden charges. They fixed up their new office the way all of the apartments should look like and Betty the manager is very rude, annoying and greedy. When you come in for the first time, they smile at you and as soon as you move in, they become your worst nightmare. Above apartment was empty and toilet kept licking every week, even when the unit was occupied. And it was not even in winter time when pipe breaks, but summer. My total experience there was horrible. The place is disgusting and run down. I will not recommend anyone to go there at all, not even to say "Hi".

LONG BUT MUST READ! (DETAILED) I am a current resident and have been since November 2012. I just bought a house so will be out in a month THANK GOD! To the ONE lady who wrote a 5 star review and mentioned you've lived there for a short time...honey give it time is all I can say. Personally when I first moved in I too thought this place was great and had no complaints! But sadly that changed fairly soon. First I was in a different apartment that was prone to flooding. The mold smell when I first moved in and constant water bugs should have tipped me off but like the girl with the 5 star rating this was my first apartment! Had I known that (because they won't tell you) I would have purchased flood insurance. May 2013 you will remember SA experienced horrible flooding and a week before my wedding I woke up to my ENTIRE apartment flooded, every square inch under 3 inches of water! My wedding gifts, laptop, and Iphone were completely destroyed! This was the third time my apartment had experience flooding however that was the worst damage. They came in and cleaned up the water but have yet to fix the side walk and the pipe that allows for the water to drain some where else other than your apartment.(til this day) They said there was nothing they could do for the damages since I did not have flood insurance! (thanks for telling me I was living in a flood zone) However, they did knock off $400 the next month from my rent because they "did not want to leave me out to dry" exact words. "Dry" was the last thing they left me with! The laptop alone was $400. Not mention the increase of mold that started to grow in my bathroom. When my lease was up, I extended for 6 months since I did not find a house yet and they worked with me to move me to a flood and mold free apartment. I believe because they knew they were wrong and as someone who lives with severe ASTHMA a doctor's and attorney's note would be the last thing they needed. In my new apartment I have a neighbor who chooses to smoke INSIDE. So now that I have started to use my AC my apartment smells like a MOTEL 6. I have mentioned this and they said there is nothing they can do about it. Again, I have severe asthma and yes this is affecting me. As for the entire complex, it has changed DRAMATICALLY in a year! The people living there treat it as their own yard and property. Kids are extremely loud and so are adults all hours of the day AND night. People invite their families over and they are BBQ'ing and putting swimming pools and lawn chairs in the parking lot. Last, again at all hours of the day and night, people are driving around bumping their music extremely loud. From Norteno to Rap, I'm sure your request will be played!

I want to be clear I do not live here but I am definitely considering it. My boyfriend however does and I helped him move in two months ago. I have talked to a few of the residents and they all seem very friendly. I have only been at the front desk once but fresh cookies..who can turn that down and they were quick about getting his mail to him. We did a walk around the place finally last week and saw the entire grounds. The only issues we have had are his shower seems to have low pressure (but it is a double shower head he is using) and they have had some online pay issues (his bill was about 100 dollars more than it should have been but they checked into it and corrected it within 20 minutes). Also his bedroom door does not like to close anymore but I am guessing that is a shift in the foundation. There are three pools the main one seems to be very busy but they do get cleaned every morning it seems. The exercise room seems to be up to date and the common area is very nice. The bathrooms were clean around the pools and they do keep the grounds clean. Since management has changed so have the complexes. All of his appliances work (dishwasher and stove that look new) and I have yet to see a bug. The neighborhood seems to be very quiet and he has had his motorcycle out the last two months and no one has even touched it. The gate does have some issues honestly but there seems to always be parking. This is a busy place and does have a lot of kids but has a very nice playground...it could use some swings but other than that it all seems good. This is from a small perspective I guess because there are 30 different complexes that we saw but I also know a few other people there and they have not complained either.

I lived here from May 2011-Jan 2013 and all the bad reviews are pretty accurate. Management is very disorganized and misinformed. One employee will say something and the other will say the complete opposite. Gates were broken more often than not. Towards the end of my lease I noticed how loud the kids were. I counted about 5 roaches in my apt throughout my entire leasing and never noticed much more outside but I was in the apartments in the back at Dreamland & Lockhill Selma so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. Rent was reasonable when I first moved in with prior management and grandfathered into new management a couple months later but as soon as I renewed rent went up about $120 which I thought was pretty wild. Management was the biggest problem for me.
