My girlfriend would not post it so I am. She has lived there for 10 or more months (seems like forever!), and in that time her car has been hit, vandalized and stolen from. She has called to make a complaint and no response from property manager. The parking lot is for "off-road vehicles only" with all the potholes, and in the winter you can use it as an ice rink from their water main being busted for a long time and nothing being done about it. Unless it snows then you WILL be digging yourself out of your apartment to your vehicle, even if you're handicapped! Yes, I witnessed my handicapped neighbor shoveling his own snow to get his wheelchair down the sidewalk. There are always couches and mattresses near the dumpsters, as if they had a scabies outbreak. And God forbid you see a bug and tell them because they will be making you look bad by saying they came with you. Their walls are supposed to be sound proof but our neighbors can hear our flat screen tv so loudly that the bass can knock pictures off their walls. While we were in Georgia we called to talk with the property manager about this complaint and got no response (you can probably get a hold of her if you say you are looking for an apartment). Beware! She will up sell this awful place. She stated that their trees had a bug infestation and they had to cut them down. She made it sound like a work-in-progress when my girlfriend moved in and that it would soon be done. Ten months later, the trees are still on the ground. I asked a neighbor about this and he says that he has lived here for 3 years and it's been the same since he moved in. Caution young people: if you are under the age 45 then it really seems as if the older crowd picks on you aka throws trash in your area or cuts the rope on your car cover of your classic car sitting in the parking lot. Called the manager about this one too and got no response. If by chance you do live here, avoid the parking lot for there will be homeless-looking RESIDENTS staring you down while you are avoiding the holes to the center of the earth!!! The landscaping is a joke, and if you think this place is clean, you might want to look into better housekeeping. And God forbid you walk in the grass without getting dog poo on your shoes. Another thing the management "doesn't tolerate." And if you do decide to move in, for the love of God, clean the place yourself from top to bottom, lest you get gono-herpa-syphilis. The lady who runs this place is a very good fast talking salesman and not very good management........On the plus side, the place is pretty quiet. The maintenance guy is pretty responsive once he gets the message from the awesome property management that answers the phone every time you call. Well, that's about it. I don't have much good to say about this place.
Finding a clean community to live in was most important to me when I was looking to move. Willowood is the perfect fit for me. Tracy is the best property manager ever!!! She treats all residents like family.
