Myself and my boyfriend have lived in this complex for over 3 years and have had nothing but excellent experiences. The office and maintenance staff are amazing and really bend over backwards to be sure our needs are being met. Everyone is attentive, accommodating, and work hard to be sure that we have a great living experience. There are also lots of fun and free activities offered at regular intervals that help me feel like I'm part of a community. The complex itself is in a great location - NAU and other essentials (like shopping and food!) are all within walking distance. I can't recommend this complex highly enough.
Collectively, Woodlands Village is a great place to live. With convenient access to shopping centers, about a 12 minute walk from campus, and close to the Movie Theater, there are many things to keep you busy near by. The rent is reasonable (by Flagstaff standards) and the apartments are okay. The real selling point of Woodlands Village is the staff. Cons: - Some out of date appliances - Apartment insides show some of their age - Cabinets and Counter tops are in need of replacing - Repainting of walls hasn't been done with care and results in minor paint splatters - Minor chipping on wall edges - No washer/dryer in unit - Apartments are lacking in storage space - My bedroom door has a large hole that has been patched right in the middle (it's worth noting that I have obnoxiously high standards and these are mostly minor problems) Pros: - New(ish) flooring - Bathrooms are very nice and updated - Location is great - Price is reasonable - Excellent community amenities (pool, spa, gym, BBQ areas, lounge) - Community events are hosted throughout each month The most positive thing about Woodlands Village is the staff. They genuinely care about their residents, and are very responsive to requests. Any problems I've encountered have been resolved immediately with the always smiling faces of Dave and Karen. All things considered, Woodlands Village is an excellent place to live. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had moved in earlier!
As a resident of almost two years, I can say without a doubt that Woodlands Village is a quality, safe, and enjoyable place to live. We can easily identify the obvious benefits to living here in its close distance to campus, innumerable amenities (CARES events, large pool, spa, gym, clubhouse) and relatively low cost, but the best thing about living here has been the people. The office staff are some of the most friendly people I have had the pleasure of getting to know. Karen, in particular, is so helpful and caring. She's always willing to answer questions, take care of any maintenance issues, and just genuinely be there for her residents. All in all, Woodlands Village has provided me with a safe, clean, and enjoyable place to live. One thing that would make this place just absolutely perfect? Security screen doors so we can have the front door open to let in fresh air without having our apartment wide open!
This place is great. The staff is all really friendly and I feel very safe in this community. The location is great, a 15 minute walk from the NAU campus. Close to a variety of restaurants and near a bus stop to be able to get downtown.
Karen and the team there have been amazing to deal with. Very accommodating with all the help and information we needed to get our son moved into his college apartment. They made the process very easy. The place is well maintained with very nice common areas and clubhouse. We are quite pleased.
