Troubleshooting the Walk Score Neighborhood Map

If you are having trouble with the Neighborhood Map, you may want to try out HTML badges which are easier to integrate into your site.

Here are a few things you can do to make the Neighborhood Map work:

• First double-check that you're copying and pasting the complete code into your page, and putting it in the correct part of your page.

If you're still having trouble, your WSID may be for a slightly different domain than what your site is on. To correct this:

• Keep the Neighborhood Map code you used on your page earlier, but change the last line to replace
  "show-tile.php" with "show-domain.php".
• View your page in a web browser. It should now tell you what domain we think is hosting your page. If this is different than the domain you used to get a WSID earlier, then we're on the right track.
• Return to our main Neighborhood Map page and enter the domain you saw in the previous step to get an updated WSID.
• Copy the updated code (with your updated WSID), and try using it on your page.
