This has been one of the most challenging places to reside. My bathroom and the guest bathroom has had multiple incidents in which there has been black material coming from the faucet and into the tub. Now since then, the tub itself is very hard to clean due to the debris that has fallen out and makes the entire bathroom look dirty. On multiple occasions we have called due to mold, in my bathroom alone. When I first moved in I too was excited about the new experience, the gym is barely working, the outside has a lot of trees which has cause multiple issues with pest control. My car was towed, I asked if it was towed from the leasing office and they told me no. Filed a police report and a week and a half goes by, which caused the towing company to accrue additional fees each day. I was ok with paying any fees up until the date i originally asked if they had it towed but they refused to pay, even though it was there fault for additional charges for a week and a half for false information.
The new management has turned these apartments into the worst apartment I have ever lived in if I knew the management was changing when I renewed my lease I wouldn't have resigned. I am so disappointed. I have called the office three times about mold issues, I have not heard anything nor has anyone been to my apartment to check the problem. I have called about roach and bug issues nothing has been done, I went to buy my own bug spray. I called about a loud noise humming noise coming from downstairs once again I have not heard anything from anyone that works at Springlake apartments. The maintenance of the grounds of the apartments is ridiculous, but they make sure the front of the apartments are clean for appearance. The money they spent on building a soccer field should have went to debugging the property and ridden apartments of MOLD. The worst. Not renewing lease, I would not refer my enemies to these apartments. Contacting my family lawyer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! Wish there was a non star or negative star option. My true rating is -5. Tonight I couldn't unlock my front door due to the lock went bad called emergency maintenance to fix issue. How many problems can one apartment have?????
The absolute worst place to live. Roach and mold infested they take forever to do anything. Can't wait until my lease is up. New management sucks the old management was better. I had to move my newborn out the house because I refuse to have him living under these conditions. I'm basically paying rent for not being there. The staff is EXTREMELY rude. They don't even deserve 1 star. Yes this is a real person and a real resident. When I first moved in I was excited as well and I thought that I loved it until I was a couple of months in. The apartment they gave me wasn't the apartment they told us we were going to get and that we put money down for. The model is nothing like the apartment. Renovated or not my neighbor has a renovated version and I don't theirs look nothing like the model. The cabinets were spray painted very tacky. There were stains on the carpet when we moved it broken outlets. Cable connection doesn't work in every roomonth just a big old disappointment. Worst choice I've made in my life but trust I won't be making it again it's cheap but it's not worth the price
After reading the other reviews I am wondering if they were real posts or comments that were about the wrong apartment complex. I moved here in March, from Oklahoma and even though I pay more for a smaller unit then what I had in Oklahoma, that was expected. I stay in the front so I don't have any noise issues, actually its pretty quiet except during summertime when the pool is open, that too is also expected. What I didnt expect is for there to only be one trash site, and at times the one we have can look a little disgusting but that is because of tenants allowing small children to take out trash thats so heavy that they cant throw it in. Its because of lazy tenants that the property is not kept up. Throw your trash in the trash can so others won't have to endure it. As far as structures go, these buildings are old and things may need to be updated within the apartments but again, that's to be expected. The staff that is of most help is Melesa, she is part of the staff that stayed when management changed, she is very informative and helpful when I've ever needed anything, and ive never had sn issue with maintenence not coming after a work order was put in. I think that as adults we have to be responsible about the decisions that we make ie, not resesrching the apartment or making a sound choice on where to live. I love it here, outside of my kitchen being too small for all of the cooking that I do, its a good place to call home. MHG
I would not send my enemy to live in this community!!!! It is not kept up very well. Only one lady in the rental office is actually nice. The main property manager acts as though she hates her job. When I went to voice some concerned about the property I never got a reply. Also they allow all types of pets. If you have a baby tiger I am sure you can still live there because they do not enforce any rules! Trash is always outside all over the complex. Mattress and box springs are all over the place. It seems as though if maintenance lives on the grounds that they would clean it up. I wanted someplace nice and quiet and this was not the place. It has potential but when you have a manager that is not really there to help the tenants it is hard to get things done! DO NOT LIVE THERE!
