I've been living here for two months and it took me that long to mentally get to a place where I could write this review. If you are debating between this place and another, go with the other one! I know you're wondering why I moved in and signed a lease in the first place, well, in a nutshell I didn't have a choice. My current lease was ending, I had already canceled my application with another property I was considering and thought this place was an answered prayer. Boy was I wrong. This is a classic case of bait and switch. So yes, that beautiful model that they show you, even though you don't expect an exact replica for your place, is NOTHING like the apartment they'll put you in. No one told me that the look of the model was only available for 2/2 units or that the other apartments were so old that there are cracks in the wall and floral wall paper in the bathrooms (that they attempted to paint over and then half way through just stopped). No one said that the entire model apartment was only offered with the upgraded package. So what did I end up with? The apartment from Good Times — and that was only after they showed me a "better" available option. Imagine my disappointment after being shown and promised the model with hardwoord floors, a beautiful fireplace and a gorgeous bathroom and kitchen. Had I had the option to move else where without being homeless for a few months, I would have. But the apartment that I canceled (no lease was signed there) had already given the unit away and my then apartment was already leased. Plus, I just moved to Atlanta a year ago and was just starting to make friends but I don't have any family within a 3 hour radius, so its not like I could run to one of them until I figured something out. I was trapped. And now I wake up every day in an apartment (notice I didn't say "my" apartment) that I haven't even decorated, that still has pictures and decor options packed away in boxes, that I haven't invited anyone over to and that I don't care for in the least bit. So again... if its between this place and another, unless you're willing to shell out the money for the upgraded 2/2, a $400 non-refundable deposit (they don't tell you that until after you sign the lease!!!) and know for sure what your apartment will look like when you move in, RUN to the other option. Please!!
I would not send my enemy to live in this community!!!! It is not kept up very well. Only one lady in the rental office is actually nice. The main property manager acts as though she hates her job. When I went to voice some concerned about the property I never got a reply. Also they allow all types of pets. If you have a baby tiger I am sure you can still live there because they do not enforce any rules! Trash is always outside all over the complex. Mattress and box springs are all over the place. It seems as though if maintenance lives on the grounds that they would clean it up. I wanted someplace nice and quiet and this was not the place. It has potential but when you have a manager that is not really there to help the tenants it is hard to get things done! DO NOT LIVE THERE!
Great staff...great renovations on this place!
