My girl and I just recently moved out of the apartment. Here are some pros and cons. Even though there seem to be more cons, please do not reflect the negativity towards the pros. PROS: 1. Beautiful area, great location. 2. Really nice amenities. (2 pools "salt water & and regular), gym, tennis court. 3. Washer and dryer. 4. Updated appliances. 5. Central Air/Heat. 6. Lastly, one of the great things about The Villas is that they have professional Staff, shout out to Celeste "The Manager", and Carol, they had been helpful during our time there, and would recommend talking to them if you are ever in need of a place. They are there to help, trust me. CONS: 1. Covered parking is really, I mean really really small, I have to kick people out before parking in my tight spot. Funny, sometimes when I get home, I see one of my neighbors parking in their little corner, hard to maneuver, always climbing the curb to get in. 2. What I hate about the Patio on the first floor is when maintenance workers are cleaning and blowing debris, they just blow it on to your patio as a dump, I have had dog poop in there bags, cigarette butts, leafs, dirt, etc.) 3. Garbage disposal is a pain if you live in the center, a walking distance if you have a lot of trash. 4. Receving mail (postal), your mailbox is at the opposite end of your apartment. 5. Spiders, there are a lot of spiders, I believe from the time we were there, we have seen about over 50 spiders, and I hate spiders. Wish they would do something about it, not sure were they are coming from, but my only suggestion is that it is crawling from the drains. Also, the storage closet outside the Patio is a nighmare, SPIDERS. 6. Dog poop, sometimes neighbors just don't care about picking it up. 7. The Master bathroom, in the morning it reeks of sewage, not sure what is going on, but they need to fix that issue. 8. Air Condition Filter, been living there for a year, not sure if they have a schedule to replace it, or when to replace it, but I had to vacuum the dust from it. 9. The vent under the kitchen does not seem to work, even though it sounds like it is working (lol). With this said, give them a shot, I only recommend 3 1/2 stars, but what you get out of it is a beautiful place to come home to.
If I could give this place negative stars I totally would. I just moved out a month ago and i only had a 4 month lease and I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! FIrst of all, If you have a pet this is NOT the place to go. When we moved in, they charged us a regular deposit and a pet deposit which is okay but they never said that it would never be returned to us. When we moved in they did not tell us about the move-out inspection. They did not specify that every little single piece of the apartment would be inspected. Move out inspection came. I spent COUNTLESS HOURS cleaning that place, I even had another person help me and we were cleaning for about 6 hours before the final inspection came that same exact day. The retard that inspected our place charged us cleaning expenses to dust each little light bulb, to clean the windows from the outside of the apartment, clean the sink of water stains and etc. Things that were all already were there/were dirty when we moved in. I mean cmon. who takes out every single light bulb dusts it and then puts it back!? In addition to this he said the ENTIRE carpet needed to be replaced due to urine stains. My dog HAS NEVER had an accident inside the apartment EVER. and he ripped off the entire carpet(something they did not tell us that they were going to do beforehand) and pointed out urine stains in places where boxes were there/places my dog never stepped foot in like the bedrooms!! I tried to argue with every single person there because they were clearly scamming me. I had 0 furniture living there. Just a mattress a folding table and a chair, and they charged me my entire $850 depost + $210 extra to replace the carpet of the entire apartment. DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT do business with these incompetent idiots. NEVER NEVER NEVER put yourself through this type of crap. Hope you all read this review and listen to this. Go to the 4S down the street where pets are allowed and service is better
I have been a tenant at the Villas for approximately a year now and have numerous issues with their staff and their complex.
1. In the past year I have had to ask maintenance to come out to fix the following:
b. air conditioning unit
d. light on porch (took them app two weeks+ to fix it)
*note: I am about to put in a service request for the toilet being backed up (again) along with my leaking dishwasher. Not to mention, the sewage in their complex smells awful so during the summer months, expect to smell a foul odor being excreted from the sinks and tub.
2. Parking spaces have no rhyme or reason to assignment and they are lined unevenly so hopefully you are a little person with a little car - hopefully your neighbor is also. lol
3. The dog park should be renamed "poop" park since no one ever cleans up after their pets nor does management. Beware of land mines - serious ones!
Pros - close to the freeway
*this is the only pro I can think about
Cons - slow response time from staff, never pick-up the phone, maintenance is severly backed-up, failing appliances, poor ground maintenance and thin walls (personally, I'm glad that my neighbor and I share the same taste in music while getting ready for a night out or while getting ready for work)
NOTE - before renting from The Villas, ask to view the ACTUAL apartment you will be renting. They make you believe that the unit you are renting will have high quality items and look fresh/new but their model does not reflect the actual unit you will be renting. They state they cannot show you the actual unit because it is being serviced but I think it is a ploy so that you are stuck with a "lemon" apartment.
Very good houses..clean and big enough. Its is a huge community with many facilities like swimming pool, tennis court and gym. All clean and friendly. Recommended.
My family has lived here for about a year and we are happy with the place. Our unit is well accomodated, with washer, dryer, all the kitchen stuff, and a patio. After a long day of work/school, I like taking my daughter to the pool or over to the newly resurfaced tennis court. Every other wednesday they set up a kids movie in the clubhouse, with lots of popcorn, drinks, and jelly beans. They accept pets, keep the grounds clean and well maintained, and it's close to the freeway. They even have additional storage closets for rent. Honestly, for a good price, I'd buy this place, it's as nice as an average condo.
