My kids have attended this school for 3 years and we love it here. I've found that the majority of the teachers are excellent, and every teacher we've had has been good. Whenever we've had concerns we've contacted the teacher or spoken with the principal been happy with the results. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there is so much turnover. The upside though is that my kids have made a lot of friends. We've had no issues with bullying at this school, I guess things have changed. I love that they teach the kids about the 7 Habits and the Watch DOGS program is great. The secretary is about as nice as anyone you'll ever meet.

I love this school. My girls were attending another school in the valley and they had trouble pronouncing the letter sounds. They have been now 1yr in Bridger and they read and write wonderfully. I'm happy with the change and advanced. Thank You Bridger!

This is the worst school in the valley. From the janitor as part of the staff, all the way to the principal. There is no professionalism at all! This school is notorious for bullying. We gave it a shot & allowed or children to go. Until January of 2014 as advised by the secretary of education for the state of Utah, Tammie Pyfer, we withdrew or children & home schooled them for the remainder of the year. This was after many hours of time spent meeting with teachers, the principal Jed Grundig , and various members of the school district; where these multiple attempts were rather fruitless and pointless. As parents we wanted to help change the atmosphere of the school for all kids, not just or own. It was not until the multiple complaints from not only myself, but other parents as well did the school district finally decide to start an anti bully campaign. It is my advice as a person who suffered bullying schooling, seeing behind the scenes from the perspective of an employee of the school district as an ESL teacher, now as a parent; my view on this issue is one that feels it needs to be addressed at home, as well as in the school. Unfortunately for those children that may attend this school, are sentenced to a literal hell on earth every day they must attend this school. There are teachers who are very genuine and want the best for not only their class, but for the entire school. This is one of those circumstances where the leadership speaks volumes as to the poor qualities this school has. The rumors sadly are very true, if not very tamed down. If it is a viable option to have your children go somewhere else for school, I would strongly recommend considering this option. As modern psychology has proven that bullying is very traumatic and can lead to multiple issues to manifest in the many years following the period of being bullied.

Bridger is the best school ever none of the teachers are mean that's what's so awesome about Bridger elementary except Bridger you should let the students choose if they want to stay inside or not because that's one rule I don't like is that we have to go out side it stinks to have to go outside every da in the morning but besides that Bridger is the best, awesome ,coolest school ever GO BRIDGER yeah!!!!!!!!!

Bridger Elementary is the worst school you could possible put your child into or even consider. My son came home with bruises up and down both arms due to the teacher and that was when my son was in kindergarten (3 years ago) and to my knowledge nothing happened to that teacher. 1st grade he did have a wonderful teacher Mrs Olson however on the playground and in the hallway is a completely different story. Let's just mention the hallways are not monitored. They did not have enough supervisors on the playground which lead my son to be hit so many times in the stomach he ended up at primary children's hospital in Salt Lake. Then 2nd grade was no so great. We had kids pushing my son in hallway ways when he was walking down the hallways, he was sat right in front of a bully who kicked his chair the entire day but the teacher refused to move my son to a different location instead the kids needed to work it out. There where lights turned out in the bathrooms and my son scared to death that he still to this day will not use a public bathroom. I am now homeschooling my son because he has anxieties and nightmares so bad we can't get him to leave the house most days, and that is not an exaggeration. He WILL NOT play in the McDonald's or Carls JR play areas. Most of you think that's a good thing, let me just tell you its not. When my son see kids he is in the corner where he just pee-d his pants in the fetal position because he is so terrified. So I guess what I really want to say is Thanks so much Bridger Elementary for screwing my kid up beyond repair. And if you would like to handle the same type of problems (and then some) then I would suggest signing your child up for this school.
