Do not live here. They are disorganized and throw all your rent checks in a drawer with no labels or folders or anything then tape a demand for rent with a list of attorney fees on your door because they lost it in the pile. And if they decide to close the office the day that you move out (in my case on a Wednesday) , you can't hand them the keys AND get charged for that extra day even though you called them and verified that you couldn't bring it in but you can the next day and they said it was OKAY..... But apparently, the CALL CENTER that said it was okay had no idea what they were talking about.... Don't live here. It's not worth it, I promise you.
My boyfriend worked for the school district and heard about these apartments because they gave out discounted rent for workers that live in these apartments. We decided why not...WORSE DECISION OF OUR LIVES!! Everyone was really nice until we moved in. Once moved in the first night I saw a COCKROACH in the bathroom. We told the apartments about this and we started getting weekly pest control visits where we had to leave our house all day. after 2 months of them visiting every week the pest problem still wasn't gone so we requested to move apartments which they denied because they wanted to keep doing pest control WHICH WAS NOT WORKING. Also one day our fridge went out and we called the emergency maintenance hotline and was told someone was going to come that night to fix it, but no one ever did so ALL our food went bad, they said they would reimburse us for our food if we had the receipts BUT THEY DIDN'T. Then while the apartments were doing renovations not only did our bathtub backup with poop water but our neighbors did too! We contacted maintenance and was told we had to clean it ourselves. We decided to break the lease and they charged us over 1,000 dollars for a horrible 3 months of our lives. THEY ARE A RIP OFF! DON'T LIVE HERE. Roach infested homes, unsafe and filthy!
Lexington Park is a scam, the management does what ever they can to charge you with extra fees. Bed bugs, roaches, and maintenance workers that steal from the attendants. These apartments will ruin your life. If you have any self respect you will not even think about looking at this trash. Any good post about these apartments are done by the management.
ive been living in these apartments for about 4 years. ive never been late nor have i ecer had a problem with these people. till know. thus past satuday an apartment in my building cought on fire. 18 families were evacuated. its going on day 5 and the management cant give us any information on our homes. they left us all in the cold and dont even worry about any of us. these people dont care about no one but them selves.
This is an honest review, from someone who has stayed here a year. I've been through 2 owners and many many staff... Read if your considering signing!!!!! 10 Reasons i'm glad to be getting out of Lexington Park Apartments (Or now known as Carson Apartments) 1. Elephants must have recently adapted the ability to rent out apartments, Since i've been living below them for the past year. 2. I've heard the same rap/spanish/ghetto song played almost on a daily basis since i moved in here, The beat is forever burned into my ears. 3. I have killed enough bugs and spiders now that they have deemed me "The Decider" and fear me. 4. Playing "Whats that smell?" Isnt as fun as it sounds. 5. Hearing 2 ghetto people threatening and arguing on a weekly basis is a great idea for a TV show, Not an apartment complex. 6. I'm convinced that children are being murdered outside on a daily basis, They need to be taught the difference between "Play shouting" and "Screaming bloody murder". 7. The mail seems to get mixed up often. Nothing against the mail lady, but i'm not #208 or #402, Wonder how much of my mail is gone. 8. Not to be racist, but i would like it if the strange men coming into my home to fix my air conditioner/bathroom/sink/whatever could at least comprehend what i'm trying to say. 9. I swear the apartment is getting smaller and smaller every single day, I'm Alice and my potion is wearing off slowly. 10. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Its just not worth it. $1 per square foot is to high to pay for the run down, leaky, old, smelly, ghetto apartment that this is. No matter how many times you paint or install new "fake" wood flooring, This place will always be trashy.
