The apartments can be somewhat expensive for the area, although it's justifiable because they're nice and have a good view, especially if you face Broad Street. They're also fairly big and have hardwood floors. Amenities are a plus (wifi lounge, gym, garage) and it's located conveniently next to Girard Station. The place is pretty quiet- I never experienced noise from neighbors. The hallways are dim lit and sometimes it can even feel like an empty building though, ha. But overall I enjoyed living here. Despite the good things I have to say, I give it 2 stars because of the building management. The front desk attendants vary - some are helpful and some are rude, even when they're aware their speaking to a tenet. Property management was awful. I moved out almost 5 months ago and yet to have my security deposit returned. The two managers are almost never in the office during the supposed 'office hours' and you'll be extremely lucky if they ever return a phone call. I have other had 'trust' or courtesy issues with them too: I think they 'stole' my sublet to have them as their own client. . . If you want to live here: the apts can be very nice and feel secure. But be aware if you're unlucky you might have problems with management down the line.
I have lived here for over a year and absolutely love it! Perfect for grad students who want to live close to campus but not directly on campus. I moved from out of state and am so happy to have found this place. The staff is very helpful and know you by name and the views are amazing. I get compliments on my apartment all the time.
Move here if you enjoy roaches; mold in the air ducts; constant noise; slow, broken-down elevators; and some of the worse slum lords in North Philly. Move anywhere else in the area rather than here--or better yet, move out of North Philly entirely and just take the subway to work/school.
Not sure why my last review got delete but I will say that I went to this place to take pictures for the website and it was easily the nicest college apartment building I have ever seen.
I had a pretty awful experience living at this place. Mouse infestation, to say the least. I actually never had much of a roach problem, which is surprising for this place. I had an altercation with my next door neighbor solely because I am white. I started carrying weapons after that. I definitely did not feel safe in my apartment, or in my neighborhood. Yes, the rent was reasonable, but you can't really put a price on your safety.
