This is a pretty decent place to live. The neighbors are nice, and the management and staffs are awesome. Management is always punctual, and helpful, maintenance is extremely helpful and courteous, and security is always around when you need them. There's a decent size gym located on the complex that is very convenient. The pool is simply amazing. The pool is generally clean, however, it may become congested with people during the summer. We have a two bedroom apartment, that is a decent size for three college guys. When we moved in, the apartment had new paint, carpet, and everything was in working order. Our faucet was a little squeaky, and the management replaced it with a new one, no question ask. The rent is pretty cheap for being so close to campus. The hornet shuttle stops right in front of the complex, and the bike trail is not too far away. If you are looking for an apartment close to campus, this should be your first choice.
I have lived here since April, 2014 and the place is great at taking your rent. But every tenant is supposed to have a permit sticker on their window to park by their unit. However, they don't every enforce it and people with no stickers park in the spaces that say permitted parking only. You have to park way away from your building and walk in the dark. Also just got my notice of rent increase for when my one year lease is up. There are new owners and my rent went up $209.00 per month. I was told by one of the office girls it might go up $25 or so. Renter be wary renting here.
This place is a sham. I've lived here since July and I cannot wait until my lease is up. They draw you in with low rates and pretty outsides but when you move in its a different story. Although you think you are getting a deal on your rent expect to pay another $100 a month for you water bill (I'm only speaking on a one bedroom). Then expect major disruptions. If you're a student do not expect to be able to study in your apartment because the complex is extremely loud. You can hear everyone of your neighbors and if you're unlucky like me they will be doing roof work during finals week starting at 8am with maintenance outside your window yelling "I don't care wake these people up!" Then three days later you are told you must leave your apartment for 2 days with little notice and no compensation for more maintenance. As if that wasn't enough try showering with no hot water for 3 days and cooking Christmas dinner with no water at all. It's rather tough and when you call to talk to someone about it no one knows anything, try calling back after the holiday. I wish someone the management actually lived in this place so they could get a taste of their own medicine. I hope you go with your gut, DON'T MOVE HERE!
I've been here over a year already and have had a great experience compared to other places in this price range. Professional, friendly staff (minus the manager... She's not so friendly) and maintenance issues have been handled timely and done right. Super nice grounds, basketball court, playground, tennis courts, real decent gym, huge pool and smaller pool, and gas BBQ... no complaints there. My only BIG gripe is the utility bill (sewer, water, trash). Its always about $88-$92 and is supposedly split fairly among everyone in the complex, with some formula depending on number of tenants and however else the utility billing place decides it. Its outrageously high for me and a toddler. Otherwise, great place!!
Worst place to live. So gross and management is terrible. People die and get shot often. Management will screw you however they possibly can. I'd rather live in a box on the street.
