This review is during my residence in 2014. Here are reasons why you SHOULD not move into this Apartments. 1.) Despite a relatively low rent price, the value of the apartment you will stay in is worse quality than the price you are paying for. In other words, you are getting ripped off. In addition, the utilities along with the rent will lead you to believe if it'snot worth staying in this poor apartment. 2.) The Walls are thin-You will hear people talking, yelling, and other noises from upstairs or downstairs and the residence next to you. Even if they whisper or turn their music on low, you can still hear it. So you can understand how thin the walls are. If you desire minimum noise and privacy, then I would recommend not staying here. 3.) Robbery-Yes it is in Petersburg so you can expect some sort of crime. There was a burglary on my neighbor within me moving in three months. Fortunately it was not my residence. Also, there are cops coming into apartment complex quite often due to some other issues. If you want safety, then this is not the place here. 4) Management has terrible customer service. The two ladies that work in the office have absolutely NO customer services skills and are extremely rude. They are disorganized and are stubborn that they don't listen to the residents. I had to correct them several times on inaccuracy from them. Shouldn't they improve their customer service to make up for the low apartment quality? Listening skills and patience are key to customer service-advice to them. Low Customer Service-Lower Customers so work on it. In conclusion, you might think the rent is cheap but it's still not worth what you are getting. The value and quality is lower so you are getting the short end of the stick.
I love this cheap, affordable place! I just can't afford to live there. But, would love to, thank ye! lol
Wouldn't recommend to ANYBODY! Horrible neighborhood, neighbors surveille, and watch you! If you're white, you're not allowed! Wouldn't recommend...
The apartments are becoming increasingly dated and given the relative price are borderline not so great a deal. There are no balconies or porches and the no outdoor grilling or sitting areas to compensate. As with most old apartments, there are some problems with nuisance bugs like earwigs and centipedes that just appear out of nowhere sometimes. Additionally, as nice as the management team is, you have to keep on top of things and they seem to not have a good handle on a significant vandalism problem that, e.g., destroyed a brand new work out room in a matter of about a year and the laundry facility is often damaged through vandalism.
