Problem #1: My apartment was broken into a week ago and the complex would not allow me to break my lease. As soon as the burglary happended, I drove to the office and the property manager was in her vehicle. I notified her of my burglary and she didn't even apologize and told me to contact maintenance myself; while proceeding to drive off in her vehicle. I felt as if she didn't care and she was unsupportive of the situation. I notified the leasing office to break out of my lease. The property manager never returned my call, however, the assistant in the office told me that I will still have to pay two months rent. Problem #2: Before my break in, I lived in this complex in the smallest one bedroom apartment. I came home from work one day and my ceiling was caving in. I was forced to move into another one bedroom within the complex due to poor maintenance of the building. The entire building had to move out before the end of the month due to county regulations. I wanted to break out of my lease at the time, but I couldn't afford it,so I ended up staying in the same complex. Problem #3: Oh, might I add, the gates in the community does not work. So anyone can come in and out of the community. I have complained about this to the leasing office for the past year! Problem#4: My neighbor has caught 2 baby scorpions going into his apartment so he broke his lease. I have had numerous roast infestations. I called the leasing office and it took them 2 months to respond. A good property manager would have had the decency to allow me to break my lease, and would have been sympathetic about the matter I would not recommend anyone to stay there!! They only want your money and don't care about your safety as a tenant. Please save your time and your money.
It's the worst place! My apartment got broken into two weeks ago, and management act like I can't break my lease. They won't be happy until I find a new place and give them their key back and call it a day. It's a lot of loitering here and I hate it. It'll make you wonder does anybody work around here. I'm in the process of finding another apartment now. The rent is cheaper than any apartment in the city, but you get what you pay for, which is crap. I would not recommend my worst enemy to live here. It needs to get demolished.
I moved into the Weatherly at the start of 2010 and it has been quite pleasant. I have not had a problem with the staff or neighbors. I heard a lot of bad things but I have experienced different. I have several friends who live there and they all recommend it. I moved there to cut expenses so for the money I pay I can't complain. I have an apt larger than my more expensive one. I have a patio (enclosed), an outstanding maintenance team, and the management staff (Gail & Enreke) have been awesome. They are punctual, professional and particular. They get right on requests, they have always been nice and courteous and they hit it dead on every time. I don't have a problem with bugs or kids. So far so good!
I love the weatherly I've benefit here almost 3 years quite place to be very nice
