I love this complex! The staff is courteous and conduct themselves as professionals. The property is clean and well maintained, and just minutes away from anything you need!
Ok so I lived in these apartments for the past 3-4 years now. Currently not living at this one but transferred to another property owned by the same MAA group. While living at this property it wasn't so bad.. Only thing is the floors. Every step you make the people below you will hear as stomping around. Lord forbid you have any kids..luckily the harassing neighbors below me at the time moved out. My problem at this property is at the point of leaving it. They have sent several frivolous bills to collections without even a phone call or email to me to let me know. The last one they sent was for like $250. Which I promptly paid after being notified of it by their collection company. Now they are trying to come back at me for $1,900 on an apartment I lived in, moved out of, to another apartment there and paid all the bills including a transfer fee at the time. The nickel and diming audacity of the people here after you move out is ridiculous and if I was the manager of this property or owner of MAA I would be ashamed of myself. I will be glad to remove this review once and if this situation is made right. If you are still reading this then the management staff at this property obviously hasn't contacted me back yet after several calls, messages and now reviews. -Bryan, lived in 2206 & 2207 & another I forgot the number to.
I am not a tenant at this property. I am an applicant who was approved, but HAVE NOT signed a lease. This complex is managed by MAA. PROBLEM: I paid $200 less than 48 hours ago to 'hold' an apartment. I found another apartment owned by the same management company as the apartment on 'hold'. I called to cancel the first apartment so that I could lease at the second complex. They will not refund any of the money or transfer it to the new application. This is the letter I sent to MAA property management company after being deceived by their 'HOLD' policy. To Whom It May Concern: Hello.. I recently applied and was approved for your property at Colonial Grand at Hebron in Carrollton, TX (Apt ****). I paid $200 to hold the apartment. LESS THAN 48 HOURS LATER, I visited another one of YOUR properties, Colonial Reserve at Frisco Bridges in Frisco, TX and LOVED the property. When I called to cancel my hold at Colonial Grand at Hebron, I was told I could not transfer or have any monies refunded. Its amazing how Shelly (Leasing Agent) forgot to mention that it was NON REFUNDABLE BEFORE I PAID. Unbelievable. THIS IS STILL ONE OF YOUR PROPERTIES! I honestly cannot believe you do this to potential tenants! People who still want to lease with you! I was prepared to complete the process on-site and this has really disappointed me. It makes me question what other unfair practices your company might have. It's bad enough that I will have to endure another credit check to lease with THE SAME MANAGEMENT COMPANY. If anything can be done, I would certainly appreciate it and would love to lease at your community. I will be posting this exact message on all apartment review blogs/websites, including the outcome, FAVORABLE OR UNFAVORABLE. I sincerely hope you make this right. Thank you in advance!
I have only great things to say about Colonnial Grand. Place is clean, quiet, great service, great website. Quietness and privacy is what I loved the most.
Excellent property! Clean, quiet and peacefull... The management is awesome, the pool, the green areas and the gym are in good conditions.
