They raise the rent every year, yet the apartment constantly needs painting , have mold everywhere even when you clean multiple times a week with bleach, you hear every single thing your upstairs neighbor is doing and people across the hall have a huge roach infestation that are now coming into our apartment. Also, we are paying for a "renovated" apartment which is just an updated bathroom, in my opinion, isn't worth the money. They light fixture is rusted as well as the mirror and has been since moving in, and when reported, they did not fix. Unacceptable!!! Will not be renewing my lease next Spring. Just because there are over 300 apartments in the complex, management has the right to raise your rent 8% every year. They start off at 1% the first year, 3% the second and eventually you are paying rent the amount of 3 bedroom house mortgage. Not worth the money at all!!
I am warning you, DO NOT move into Mill Run at Union. I've been a resident for about 16 months and it was a mistake to renew my lease. The management office could care less about any issue you are dealing with. There have been 2 instances where the leasing office has lost either my rent check or other form of paperwork and they did little to nothing to assist me about the $150 late fee that they are so quick to charge. They also have zero surveillance or security which led to my girlfriend being robbed at gunpoint not even 100 yards from our back door. 2 weeks later our neighbors house was broken into on the first floor. Mill Run was notified about both instances and did nothing. I also had my car towed from Mill Run property even though I had a decal to park there legally. When I explained that to the leasing office and the towing company, they said there was nothing they could do because they already towed and it costed me $300 to get my car back. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY please save yourself the heartache and stress and even if you have to spend a little extra money to live somewhere else, its worth it because you will only deal with drama and stress at Mill Run. If I could give a 0 rating, I would.
If I could give no stars I would. I just moved out from Mill Run end of December 2015. I lived here for two years. End of my lease with a one bedroom and den and two small dogs under 10 pounds was a whopping $1610.00! Yes, that correct $1610 dollars for and apartment less than 700 sq ft. Mind you I have called and reported over 17 times in the past two years that the bathtub gets clogged up. There response: "The pipes are old but we'll send someone out again." Mill Run does not give a damn about anyone or anything as long as they receive the rent. I have never been late in my rent until now because even though I moved end of November, I was forced to stay with my apt until end of lease which is December or pay the $2500 early termination fee! That's more than my rent! I had to pay double rent in December. Beginning of December they stated they will work with me regarding the first late fee of $125. I moved out and now I was informed that "nothing can be done" regarding the late fee. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! They will nickel and dime everything. I will make mention to everyone I know not to ever consider moving here!
My leasing agent, Dana, was absolutely amazing! The apartment I am in is exactly how I imagined it would be. I only had a clogged sink issue since I've been here but the maintenance team came within 10 minutes to fix it! I haven't had such all around great service anywhere else.
I resided here for 2 years and the kitchen renovation was new which was a bonus. The area is quiet and patrolled quite often making the area feel safer. The downside was they started charging for heat and the constant rent increases were not worth it in my opinion.
